Its sad, John's whole life he'd been told by so many people that he was special, and his whole life he'd been taken advantage of, and overall he was a nice guy, and to see him die like this is just sad.
@SantaTouchedMe17 Yes, and the fact that after dying, the Universe(the producers) made him a paralitic again, and has to deal with Randy Nations, and gets fired.........just to make us think that was the parallel universe. He should have been seen straight to Heaven

Because Jacob says to him "you've found your loop hole" that means that it is most likely the guy in black but it doesn't mean its the smoke monster just because it turned into alex. the writers enjoy messing with our heades like this.
This was excellent. John Locke was my favorite character and it makes me sad that it seems he's truly dead, and is being impersonated. Then again, it goes along with his tragic storyline.
