Replace it, I had a Boxster 2001 and it had the same problem. Actually it was a little worse it had also become brittle besides the yellow effect. The only solution at that point was to replace the plastic window. You will be glad you did. good luck.

My father and I went to our local BMW dealer yesterday and he was looking into getting this car, but the guy that worked there told him he should get a 328i Convertible because " there is much more room and safety " .. So he talked my father into getting the 2011 BMW 328i Convertible .. I am very ashamed because the new Z4 has the more racing and fast look to it ... But oh well .. I got to drive it home ! It is a very nice and luxurious car .... But I still wished he would have got the Z4 ..

both the Z4 and the 328i are great, but the Z4 feels alot more sporty than the 3 series, still both are great choices, hard to go wrong with a bmw!

i hear u, and yes, when deciding which company to invest in you should look at sales. however, there are things that go into whether something sells or not besides how good the product is. advertising, social perceptions, etc. that added to the fact that people dont always go with the things that are best or logical (ie why would anyone buy a loui vuitton bag when they can get a perfectly good one for 30 bucks?). sales are important, but it doesnt make a car rubbish or not. the rs4-5 for example

this car is sexy and stylish if you don't look at it sideways that long weird looking hood and a tiny looking rear-end that BMW sustained on the Z4is not the best proportion for cars in ,my opinion... plus, it's beefier body style makes this coupe-cabriolet ( it's not a roadster anymore) look sluggish and heavier than it's competitors like the SLK, or even the TT.. well BMW wouldn't have been always a successful company if they didn't do what they think is right ..
