These are some dope tables. I as well already own 1200's and yeah they are pretty much standard but why not think out side the box? why not try some new shit. The TTX are on some real shit, I am not sure that i would ever say they are better than 1200's but a good set up none the less. Real Turntablist know whats up with the TTX's. as for the dude saying "Get rid of yo vinyls" WOW get off your serato and put in work homie, real Dj's never get rid of Wax! they rock Analog and digital! kinda stupid to say no skip seeing that any record player won't skip as long as you have the right needles and weight/antiskate setup. I had a pair of Parasound PST-1200's (from 1988* that year is right*) and they were direct drive (with less power than most belt drives of 1998) but i could scratch em once i got the concorde s. Now i have the numark ttx and these are the best decks I've used.

Bummer on my part man. My impratiality towards the TTx was biased as I am somewhat of a 1200 fanboy. TTX are really nice, honestly, but I allowed my bias and previous experience affect my descision. Spin it up dude, it's the message that matters not the tool. Peace

H8 to debate, but i own a pair of ttx numarks, and they broke on me often, im sick of em, i wanna get tech 12's, but the numarks are very good tables to sample though...but for a battle dj, i strongly recommend technics, they dont break!!!

Numark is wack dude. I've owned a pair as well as some Gemini's along the way and 12's still trump them. Even the TTX1. Talk about a toy. Why don't they just give em away with cereal. ANd for those who say they are better. Why do the prices for TTX still keep falling while 12's have been the same price for... well longer than a TTX lasts that's for sure. BTW, people who say that their PDX, TTX or ST8 TT are better, usually suffer from WishI syndrome. WishI woulda bought a 1200 :)

erm technics is the standard and btw technics sl1200 is build ages ago numark is build like what... some years ago.

and btw technics is like a brick of steel, it wont break that easly, numark looks like a toy and i think its fragile because all the digital stuff and sh#t. anyway dont compair turntables, just use them, they all play records so just buy wich one you want to use and dont start a brand battle like every one else, xbox > ps3 | sony > filips | heiniken > colt 45 ;x wtf! ^^
