I have to say, tamagotchi's were the best toy invented during my childhood. I remember in year 2, i was about 8 years old, having literally 7 tamgotchis of every generation around my neck. They were the hardest things to take care of at that age!!

V1 is good, Tamasuku is AMAZING (2nd best)

The non-ID color tamas are nice,ID took the color tamas too far...Hexagontchi would be great for kids because it is somewhat educational

Lol, I've only had one tamagotchi, but I put the clock differently. (EG 8 am was 8 pm) So that he was sleeping through the day, and I couldn't feed him or anything. He died 2 days later.

Question! After the first few it says "almost made it to America". Then the first time it says America next it's in 2004 or so. I very much remember having something like this in the '90s. Were the older ones in America? Or did I have something else? If it was something else, would anyone happen to have an idea of what I had?

@PutRandomNameHere You probably had something else. The Mori No Tamagotchi (under the name "Tamagotchi Garden") was only a few months from release, set to be shipped alongside the Tamagotchi Ocean. But by then, the "Tamagotchi boom" had come and gone, and Bandai was losing tons of money, so only the Ocean was produced and shipped. If any one Tamagotchi Garden existed, it'd be THE most expensive Tamagotchi in the world.
