I worked as a cable tech for 14 years, and I strongly advise against this. You can create the same effect by loosening all of the cable connections in your house, and if you are living in a cable system like the one I worked for, you can wait a few days for the cable guy to show up at your door, wanting to get in the house to fix a signal leak, or give you 7 days to call and make a service appointment or your signal will be padded down.(decreased) Doing this is a waste of time.

no actually this will work but on a few different levels. you can make a low pass high pass filter put it on your cable box and it wont send information back to the cable company. aka ordering ppv boxing mma matches and movies. but if the cable company does try to send info to your box and they get nothing back they will send a tec out to your house to check the problem. eventually you will have to plug everything back up the right way and everything will be sent at once. all your orders.

i used that method ,i knew that no logic work for that but i tired , thats bullshit not work at all but honestly if cable operator installed a video filter on you cable line and you have only cable internet so not possible that u can get any channels , that filter block the video signal passes the date on the cable line .. if u remove that filter then you can get 75 channels including cnn spike etc on cox cable

@jupiter1716 The cable company uses digital noise to scramble their video signals. With the proper device, you can "de-scramble" the noisy signal to get a crystal clear digital cable signal. So this will not hack anything, it will just make blurry channels clear.

and what did it give u. the only way that might work is if u live in an area where that cable co. dosn't have any digital services, tha may only have the ability to descramble the few pay channels on old 1990's tech to block HBO, etc...... U would not get anything from this in a digital system because there is no filtering on the frequencies.

this is total BS splicing a coax cable into a DSL filter isn't going to do anything but feed a shit load of noise into your cable tv service in your house and short out your phone service box outside, if your lucky you might still be able to see your picture on your tv, this DSL filter will no longer work to get analog tv services.
