Rob i saw in one of your other cardio vids you said no more that 60% of heart rate so your body uses fat as fuel instead of musle as fuel. What is HIIT using as fuel when you do it?
@WistfulnessLonging Building Code of Australia sets a max limit of 17 steps per flight. Don't know where you got your data. builderbill-diy-help D@T C@M /stair-landings D@T html
I use many different methods to work out, but, HIIT has to be the most effective for me. I have a hereditary neurological disorder that effects my periphiral nervous system, if I work out every day it just makes my weaker. With the HIIT workout, I train 2-3 times a week for 10-30minutes and definitely see gains in strength, endurance and body composition, and it gives my body time to recover. The biggest benefit for me is I can really challenge myself each time I train, a challenge makes it fun.
the phosphocreatine system only lasts for 4 -6 seconds. There is enough creatine phosphate stored in the body to last for this time (no oxygen is required) for more longer durations of exercise alterintive energy pathways will be employed. eg glycolysis, beta oxidation, TCA cycle and electron transport chain:-)

HIIT training is great - many atheletes and celebs are using it and it makes a change from jus spending hours and hours on cardio machines

International convetion of building code, make it unlawful to have more that 16 steps per flight of stairs.
.
Obviously these are ancient steps built before modern law.
.
Hope you have insurance for 'you falling on someone' in case the city prosecute you for damages, if they get sued.
Cheers.
