do you have any of them mc donalds vhs movies sucha ghost staring whoopi golburg , anams family and a few others? they had the mcdonalds logo on the back of the case where the bar coad was. cause i got a couple ghost, and adoms family...
BEAN SUCKED A55.. Because they got a BUNCH of UNFUNNY US "Comedians" A55H0l35 who zapped the FUNNY OUT OF THE MOVIE.. They DID NOT ALLOW HIS CHARACTER DO HIS THING.. Mr, Bean's Vacation is a way better movie. It was simply Hilarious.. Why??, because HE DID HIS THING without interruptions from UNFUNNY PEOPLE who think they are FUNNY,,,
I still buy vhs's because some stuff is not even on dvd. Yea, I can probably download it, but that doesn't cut it for me. There's nothing like having a killer collection of vhs's and dvd's.
@lukescollections. You don't have to be four to like something. If he likes it, he can buy it. There's nothing wrong with watching "The Care Bears," but you guys make it out to be some sin. If you like it, watch it. No problem there.
@Vendettare1. Those films are nothing but classics! You don't have to be three to like them. Some stuff stays with you. I still watch that, "Arthur," "The Berenstain Bears," etc. Aside from being children shows, they're good, well made programs.
dude... my parents recorded pee wee for me, too. i still have all of the tapes and love going back and watching them with the commercials. some of them were taped from the short-lived fox family channel when it first began airing, so they had bumpers explaining the transition from the old family channel. it's really interesting.
i know almost everyone forgot about vhs but i love em...
i have several dvd's though which i play on my ps3... but mostly i just buy more vhs tapes... like whenever i go to a garage sale or thrift store lol :P
and whenever i wanna watch a new movie i rarely ever buy the dvd... i just go to the theatres or watch it online (lol hooray for bootleg) i dont have many dvd's though :/
i'm also a collector of movies (and not for market worth, but personal worth) and i love your collection! It's nice to see a nice collection of strange and unique things. On the Cronos criterion dvd, Guillermo Del Toro talks about his collection of books and movies and I figured somehow you might enjoy. It's good to see people have things like this still.
i buy vhses still , they cheaper then dvds , or bluray definatelly , and wheels of terror isnt on dvd to top it off and the land before time series is harder to find via dvd then vhs
little monsters i got on dvd keep your tapes, why sell even if it goes to dvd
Yeah i like that sound also, You have a great collection of film in general coolduder. I just received a pretty cool big box vhs in the mail called Devils Playground...its a crazy horror porn from Greece.
As a HUGE fan of VHS (I plan on doing my own VHS collection videos soon) you've got a really fun collection. I love your videos and can't wait to get more of my own up. keep up the good work.
My Older Brother is into some classic shows and films. When you talk about the 90's "Land of the Lost" series, he'd say he likes the 70's version better, for it's campiness and interesting storyline.
I love that this guy is so unashamed of his dweeby interests. Makes me feel better about my own increasingly bloated and drawer-filling movie collection.
I still buy old VHS tapes of movies every now and then when I find them cheap at rummage sales or at pawn shops. Plus like coolduder said some movies are still stuck in VHS form. Recently I bought the old VHS tape of the actual theatrical movie of Pirates of Penzance since it stars Angela Lansbury. Great movie but corny also LOL. Also some of the movies for VHS they have the best preview trailers and any bonus behind the scenes stuff
Tiny Toons HISMV had that taped twice I can remember, loved it to death, wow you also had Animaniacs? Always loved that show, such an inspiration, I really do like your collections here, really amusing dude
im too poor to buy the good stuff like blur ray n those new tvs, so i bought me a cheap 56 inc wide screen tv n find alota vhs for free sat the swapmeet after they give stuff away they still looks kooo
Well Shawn, I am extremely impressed that you have the original 1990 VHS tape of The Little Mermaid (My friend AubreyMan62187 has two copies of that VHS tape and also has the 1998 Masterpiece Collection VHS tape as well). Also, The Little Mermaid is also one of my favorite Disney movies because not was the film my very first Disney Platinum Edition DVD that I ever got, but Ariel is also my favorite Disney heroine as well (and Jodi Benson is my favorite Disney voice actress of all-time).
i have the uk vhs. but the artwork with the penis is still the same. it's pretty rare in the uk because i can't find it anywhere. not even ebay or amazon. i can only find the alternate cover mid-90's tape. it's pretty lucky how i kept it over the years
I don't have any VHS releases of The Little Mermaid whatsoever. Also, the cover artwork on the 2006 2-Disc Platinum Edition DVD does not contain the offensive thing from Triton's Palace, nor does it contain all of Trtion's Palace either so there is nothing offensive that is on the cover art of the DVD. After all, I am pretty happy that I have the 2006 Platinum Edition DVD of The Little Mermaid.
well, of course they changed the cover for the dvd. disney always do that. for example, they edited the sex sign from the lion king. as well, if you can read my first comment, i said they changed the cover in the mid 90's.
i dont think blu ray is going to take over! i think blu ray is more for animated, and movies with cgi and special effects! theres no point on seeing old movies on blu ray! i think dvd's are going to stay! i havne seen any old classic movies on blu ray, cause theres no point!! the difference is not that big! so i think dvd's and blu rays are going to continue together!!
I have/had a lot of those Ninja Turtle tapes. In fact, I had a lot of the tapes that you showed on here! Brings back a lot of memories. I was the same with The Long, Long Trailer, too, haha, cool. :D
The Fright Fest nickelodeon vhs was awesome. The doug, ren & stimpy and rugrats cartoons that they included on it were so good. I remember the doug episode to be my favorite.
