  • Tasteful and thoughtful blues playing indeed! Inspired stuff from this master! Rock on Mick!

  • mick taylor is a super nice guy. i met him after his show in woodstock, ny a couple of years ago. they set up a table and he signed anything one wanted. i got 5 autographs out of him

  • mick taylor is my fucking idol stones done fucked up lettin him leave shoulda gave him the credit he desserved they went to shit after he left i liked his stuff with the bluesbreakers better but that was the stones in there prime who woulda thought after brian jones they made there best albums with him with the exception of beggers banquet and let it bleed

  • Dear Mick, you are just smoking good!!!!!!!!!

  • I wonder if that's the Les Paul that Keith Richards used with the Stones.

  • @beerborn no it is not, The Keith one was a '59. This is just a standard witha bigsby.

  • ...fuckin goood..:)

  • jammin hard !!!

  • Very fine.

  • JUST FANTASTIC !!! GUITAR GENIUS !!! Thanx for posting !

  • Great..!!!

  • Nothing but the blues

  • 7 minutes de bonheur ! Mick Taylor, c'est Hamster Génial ! Merci pour ce petit trésor...

  • right. Bigsby made vabratos for Gibson as well. This one looks like my Les Paul Standard cherry burst with a Bigsby and different pickups. Never seen that somewher else.

  • @ToBu67 Stock pickups with the covers taken off.

  • Looks like a Les Paul with a Bigsby to me

  • that's right

  • Or a Gibson Gold Top.

  • @4rainbowed Les Paul Standard cherry sunburst, not vintage. I think it was a reissue but I can't remember. I had this guitar for a few years and I never did any research on it because I'm lazy.

  • i wonder if thats a gretsch he's playing

  • Anybody got any idea of which Marshall model Mick was usin at the time??

    Fantastic tone

  • in this video?? It looks like it its either a plexi model or one of the 70's master volume msuper leads. I want to say one of those because I can see the gold piping on the lower offset just above the panel with the knobs.

  • ok, its definitely a plexi model...probably a fifty watter. I just caught a good glimpse of the front panel...non master volume

  • Thanks!!

  • keef doesn't make the grade? wtf!? One of the best rhythm guitar players of all time!! Without Keith Richards there would be no stones!!!!!!!!!

  • YEAHH!

  • Big loss to the Stones, only time they had any credibility was with Brian Jones and Mick Taylor. Poor old Keef just doesnt make the grade.

  • cudo....................

  • except in the context that Mick Taylor is God, which I can see.

  • "Jesus is Coming Soon!!"

How do you know, you got his dick in your mouth?

  • what a fuck has that to do whit mick taylor??

  • sigh.... this is drugs sex and rock and roll, and you advertise a dude that is the complete opposite here. You people are really fucking stupid.

  • My god thats a tasty looking Les Paul! Tasty playing aswell!

  • John Mayall never ever picked a dud

  • taylors a fanny,he left the stones!!

  • Brilliant Blues Genius !

  • 3:14

    What's he looking for? Is he...YEEAAH !!!

  • stop complaining about that ronny wood didnt chang their sound, he did he plays all the guitar solo and he its a way better then keith richards that only play rhythm and chords all the time. mick taylor he was better in teqnique but the truely rolling stones sound its acient art of weaving a in guitars and when ronnie wood started this was more used

  • focusonmusic

Oh, so everything up until 1974 was not "truly the Roliing Stones sound?" Man, that must mean & should discard all those albums...Even EXILE?? LOL!

  • Even EXILE?? Exile wasn't a very good album, It seemed a whole album of outakes. Every member of the Stones has dissagreed with the people that say that Exile is there best album. Personally i think that Sticky Fingers is the all time best, probably my favorite album.

  • personally I cant stand the ronnie wood era stones. BORING. Mick taylor era was damn good and fresh, but MY Stones will always be the December's Children/Out of our Heads Stones...yep!

  • can someone make another video in which the music and the video are synchronized, then post a link to find the viedo. I know i can't do it, but i can't imagine it would be impossible. The song I like very much...yes.

  • I will try to encode it again. For some reason the a&v were in sync on my pc but after uploading to youtube they weren't anymore.

I'm using different software now and my newer videos are in sync.

  • Hey Taylor49 - I asked on another of your post's if you have you can add:

Smiles & Grins from Taylor & Bruce -1975

    Please - MLC

  • Have you seen Mick T. live ?

  • True Blue Blues. Mick Taylor Awesome as always!

  • i so much love listening to him play....the stones SUCKED since the DAY that he left

  • fuf this is good blues, mick is a genius...yeah!!!

  • muy muy muy ........ bueno

  • wow

  • better than E.C

  • One of the great Bluesmen. Too bad the Glimmer Twins treated him like a second class hack. The Stones classic era started and ended when Mick Taylor joined and later quit.

  • excellent clips of the great blues man.

    thanx

  • shows how much people really know about mick taylor

  • suh-weet! Thanks for such an excellent post

  • True blue Blues. Mick is among the greats as this video shows.

  • I watched some other videos.. I really like his playing:) I wanted go on concert when he was in Amsterdam with Chuck and Bill, but I wasn t allowed because of all shit in school :(

Do you know will he have any concerts this summer in Netherland, Germany or Austria?

  • Yes I've heard he will play at "bospop" (google it) in the Netherlands. Unfortunately I can't be there because I'm on holiday then :(

I saw him live once in Ochten 18-11-2006. He is still very good. It costsed me only 18 euro and I was frontstage. It was really great!

  • I agree! This is Mick Taylor at his best. Check out my other MT video's as well.
