it's the same as setting up a oil rig, the weight of the cement will hold it in place. This idea is more on the temporary side, until the bottom kill is finished.This idea would have been done already, unlike the failed attempts from BP. You're gonna have to drain the ocean and stop the leak in order to assemble the 1 mile high tower of rings. Then, how do you prevent currents and tides from toppling the tower?
@chrissypaws1 you would drop it down like they did with the isolation dome, ships with cranes. It will stay sturdy from the current,because of the weight of the cement. think of it as the same way they plant an oil rig. Thank you for commenting
Building a mile high tower, not a practical idea. The ocean currents will wash it away in no time.
