  • awesome piece, I have noticed a lot of your downloads are all awesome. my second favorite is Dr John doing a boogie at Montreaux and my third favorite is cold hands boogie.

  • Nice video Andy, it would be good to see a video tutorial of the bass line that comes in around 1.30. I know everyone has their own way of doing it so another view would be useful.

  • Haha. Spider-fingers.

  • I cant play much with my right hand when playing that baseline either!!!! lol

  • Hmmmmm.....Like the previous guy, intro tooooo long, I played this piece and it's different from yours, but due credit, nice LH, try variating the RH rhythm to give it some excitement, and please get rid of the synthesized drumming....lol... waiting for the next piece....

  • lol.... that could be everything, but NO boogie woogie... I'm sorry, but I don't like that stuff and the technobeats in the background are also really poor...

  • kicks in at 130 sec dont it, intro too long 4me tho!

  • Thats the shit right there!!

  • this is exelent i love this sort of music

  • Thanks for loading this one up, it's brilliant!

Don't suppose you have the chords for the bridge section of bumble boogie do you?

    All the best.

    Danny.

  • most godly bass line ever. MusicGuru12, its:

A,A octave above, C sixth below, D tone above, D# semitone above, E semitone above, E octave below, E octave above, back to first A, all semiquavers obviously

you should be able to work out the rest from there :)

  • great left hand!

  • Enjoyed that - nice.

  • Cracking left hand! sounds allmost classical, great stuff.

  • I realise now there are several many good Boogie Woogie player on YouTube. A nice idea would be join par and make duets. Don't need to trip to each others house or a common location, just need to record following the others player video, or both recording following a given music rithm.

  • Precisely in 1 minute 27 sec you add batery beat and seens the imbre in the left hand was changes. Didi yiou really changed the timbre?

  • Hi, We met at the Fomag Boogie Festival 2006- you taught me that riff. Good to hear to whole piece!

    Cheers

  • I now appreciate, when I look at your left hand going away how much that must ache I can only do some of that boogie suff for about 36 bars then I have to have a rest, lol.

  • Wow, that is really good, please can you send me just a set of notes for bumble boogie bass line, I have tried working it out so many times. Would greatly appreciate it, thanks =)
