@lillarry5260 from seeing the melted bubbles at the end usually only comes from a potassium nitrate and sugar solution. So im guessing potassium nitrate with sugar and then probably some sodium bacarbonate (baking soda). the standard ratio for this recipe is 60/40/10. if ur adding organic dye then its 60/40/20/10.
AWESOME! I would suggest two things, though. First, do it on a sunny day so you can really see the smoke. Second, add a little black powder into the mix so it burns faster.
I just wish that you would cover it up somehow, in order to attain under oxidization and utilize the mixture in a more effecient way (get even more smoke). But I still love it, if there is real love then here it is in a big fucking box :)
@themagicman2010 It probably wouldn't be the best thing for you to breathe in. When my friend and I were testing out a smaller version, some of it got inside our apartment, and we were coughing for quite a while.
@735Dragon i think its safe enough to breathe lightly, you might have small amounts of K20 near the bomb vaporised but you have, water, co2, nitrogen and other little bits, nothing bad really.
@misaluvakatsa It's a measure of the flow of energy to or from the system( enthalpy), and is noticed as a change in temperature. H in chemistry is called enthalpy, and the delta is always a change.
watch my channel i got a video of a cool smoke bomb too like the video plz

@735Dragon I really want to make one, because ping-pong ball smoke grenades aren't as good and are really toxic.

@themagicman2010 The pottassium or salt peter will give you bloddy diahrea for a while and is mildly poisonous.

whats delta H
misaluvakatsa 1 year ago
@misaluvakatsa -Its used to represent a change in heat. In the context of the smoke bomb, it was the adding of heat (aka fire).
