no the idiots are the people who approve of cities using these cameras, and for it not to be accessed to a person is NOTHING BUT A SCAM, cause it means the ticket has to be paid, and you cant get out of it...this is also BS, because if a friend is driving, or a family member is, you get the ticket on your vehicle, SPEEDING cameras should be illegal and do nothing but make money for local and state governments.
yes. the other night i was on 51, i got flashed for going 67 on 55 too. when i got on the freeway speed limit was 67. i drove for awhile and apparently i missed sign for 55 mph zone and right behind it was speed camera. i got flashed. it was dark plus the speed i was driving, i missed 55mph sign. i was like fuck!
Whats the deal with the Speeding Camera tickets is AZ? Last week when I was there I asked an AZ native and they said you can travel 9 mph faster.. Is that true?
And what do you mean that the ticket is like a "parking violation"? does that mean that you do not receive points?
On the highway, it's 11 over. On surface streets, it's 7 over. At least that's what I've always heard.
And yeah, the ticket itself says "There will not be any points added to your license." So similar to a parking ticket, the citation is connected to your car, not your drivers license. I think this was done so they don't have to worry about serving the ticket to anyone, just like a parking ticket.
@scribklu Bad Idea man! I got deported just for driving 3 miles over the limit! Can you imagine what would it happened to me if i go 9 miles over?? Az Sucks! But not cuz the young people! It Sucks for all those Racist grandfathers!!!

That really sucks. I caught a ticket like that off PCH, in CA when this one section of the road jumped to 45, without signage. They said that since there's a restaurant there, the limit goes down and is known by the people in that area. They've since placed the proper sign.

these cameras suck. If I ever see one, i will destroy it. I will never stop speeding. plus, i live in Florida, a state that doesn't absolutely suck.

When you get the ticket in the mail, tear it up. Unless they serve you, you don't have to pay. I've been caught on that SC too.

Well if there was not a sign there stating the speed limit-- go to court! That's why we have traffic court-- deal with it.
