@destihado1 It's funny that someone as anti-military as you speaks in such a militant way over the internet. Very interesting. Says a lot about you, I'd say.
@preemptivestrike20 are you demented? I merely asked a question about the nature of the president of the united states of america inaugiretion parade. God, its no wonder that in my country they use the term "little american" to describe stupid people...
@destihado1 Wow, how clever. A stereotype of associating stupidity with the United States, yea, that's original. Never been done by foreigners with inferiority complexes before. My comment to you was your implication that the military is a bad thing. Maybe it is in your country, but not here. Understand the nature of the United States before speaking about it.
@destihado1 I don't know why that comment pissed so many people off, but it's actually supposed to be militaristic. In the early 1800s, it was strictly a military parade for the president to review the army. Today it incorporates civilians but it technically is still a military parade and even the civilian members of it are required to behave accordingly.
In Obama's parade, a firefighter was suspended from his marching band because he broke decorum by nodding to the president.
@onealhart54 Does it being cold like that make it easier or harder. Might be a dumb question but I'm from So-Cal so I dont have to worry about weather all that much I wouldnt know :)
@darcskies777 thinking about it, colder would make it easier if its like 40 or above. When you walk that fast and you're that close to eachother then you warm up pretty quickly. Its not good to be sweaty and hot. BTW Ilive in Texas so its not as cold as up north
@onealhart54 eh dont over play it.... i too am in a high-school color guard and i live in new orleans so mardi gras comes along we have strong winds and 10-13 mile parades no stopping... except for the toast of coarse
@katiesaysmeh That was a legitimate Color Guard, that was the TRUE Color Guard, not one of those cheerleader reject flag teams that follow the marching band because they cant actually do anything that requires real skill. They stole the name 'Color Guard' out of a lack of creativity to get a real name, and because the only group that would let them follow them around was the high school band.
a little too "militaristic" for a president's inauguration dont you think?

@preemptivestrike20 never did any such implication. Just asked a question. Please remove your head from your rectum and grab some litres of oxygen.

America...the land of the free? Whoever told you that is your enemy! Know your enemy!
Bush and Cheney sold the whites to Saudi Arabia. Rumsfeld and other power elites bring human traffick and child sex to the US.
We're not free yet people.
January is National Human Trafficking and Enslavement Awareness month as proclaimed by Obama.
The presidential seat has had no power since the CIA offed JFK. But that's ok. They will all die and burn in hell.

Most people don't know that Obama is no ordinary black man. He's part of the ruling blood line. He's Dick Chaney's first cousin.
