when people are going to grow up and realize that every group has a "Face" member. for example SuJu's Siwon or SNSD Yoona. they are so called face of the group and most of the times are instructed to stand in the middle for photos or performances that do not depend on positioning.

these members are usually those that have most fan base even pre-debut or simply look more eye catching. and although she is not my bias, Yoona's appearance is almost perfect so it makes sense for her to be the Face.

@15pumpum i completley agree, i love them all but too many people argue that yoona is one of the main dancers when she isn't. when they first started out she was one of the main dancers, back when they were doing 'into the new world,' but now she has stopped doing dancing solos with hyoyeon and yuri and has in a way been replaced by sooyoung. notice on this video how they keep zooming up on yoona (who isnt even doing too much) at the end, even though taeyeon is singing her heart out.
