This box is good for trying to emulate single coils with a hambucker pickups guitar, that´s the main feature of this pedal. It can kind of boost your signal though but this is not a regular EQ nor compressor pedal.

This pedal can also fix quite well a bad cheap guitar sound through an amp, works well on your "home guitar". I like it for its price.

This isn't a boost... it's a frequency specific EQ.

hi, I've got a prs se 2 and a crapy squier telecaster and there is a massive volume drop with the tele, plus it also sounds crap. . Would this help out with this?

It isn't a volume booster. It can make the bass louder but that's about it.

It isn't a volume boost however a boost in EQ in the right frequency cn help you to cut through a band's overall sound.
