Hi, i was wondering how i would go about making a glass conservatory, searched the internet everywhere and cant find anything at all. Hope you can help me
Fabulous video, I was using the ArchiCAD tutorials - but they were too complicated! This is great as you actually specify each button that needs to be pressed. Excellent. One question - when I extend the roof plan (you say about 300 in this video) I want to directly enter 300, but for some reason it won't let me type 300 during the stretch function - I'm sure this must be possible - any tips? Thanks and keep up the great videos.

@Shlop2011 hi, don't panic. drop me an email at archicadmonkey@gmail.com with the problems and maybe a couple of screenshots if possible and i'll see what i can do.
@Shlop2011 there's an option right-top of the screen named ORBIT. click on that and you should rotate the project. With middle mouse button you can pan again even in orbit mode. Enjoy xD
I have just got one question though and that is when i try to click on the wall to exstend it up so i can fit it to the roof it selects all the walls instead of just the one?
please help it would be greatly apretiated. thanks XD
hi @MrChristopherStrydom, when you create a series of walls with the "continuous" geometry method, those walls are linked. to edit individual walls in that "group" you must click the Suspend Groups button in the main toolbar. Checkout "ACM005 - Simple Archicad Building (part 1)" at 3:27
@archicadmonkey ha thanks i worked it out but forgot to tell you sorry and i have one more question... how in the world do you curve walls i know you can filet them vertically (wall to wall) but you can’t curve the top of the wall that connects to roof e.g. i have a flat roof and i want to curve the edges of it with the wall as if you were fileting it.
@MrChristopherStrydom do you mean you want to Trim the wall to the shape of the roof? if yes, there are two ways. First extend the wall beyond the roof plane. Then you either RightClick and select Trim to Roof. Or you can use Solid Element Operations from the Design menu and then select the wall as the Target, the roof as the Operator, and Subtract with upwards extrusion. Voila! the benefit of the 2nd method is that it's autoupdating, so if you move the roof it automatically changes
Thank you sooo much for doing this. I've been wanting to learn ArchiCAD. My school teaches AutoCAD & Revit because they tend to be seen more as the standard but the standard is always the best. This is the perfect tutorial. Keep it up!!@ PLEASE
