You don't need a clutch to shift up or shift down. You just have to understand a constant mesh transmission and know how to drive.

With a straight cut gearbox you don't need a clutch to change up (or down if you get the revs right) Only needed to pull away and stop. When did you last see a World rally car use a clutch to change gear?

its an r1 they have a sequential gearbox and you dont even need the clutch to change gear its only there for breaking you just drop down the lever come back when you lot know what your on about
