To any William Friedkin fan, Roy Sheider, Tangerine Dream - this movie has to be a Classic. (It didn't do so good at the box-office and it "failed" by comparison to other films at the time). BUT! This is a true "guys" film. Read or watch it. You'll be amazed what these guys had to go through .....

TD had the coolest 'cold' sound. I dug Stratosphere while in hight school but lost track of them. ANother cool performance I got into while in art school is Bobby Beausoleil's soundtrack for Kenneth Anger's film, Lucifer RIsing, recorded on mostly self-built equipment while incarcerated in San Quentin for murder at the behest of Charlie Manson. Weird, but cool.

i prefer the french version from '53 called "le salaire de la peur" in english "the wages of fear". but the soundtrack of Sorcerer is much better ;)
