the bears went the whole season with out Pino Tinoisamoa and Urlacher and a young corner back in zach bowman, back up safteys 3 different starters at the middle line backer position a offensive line that was old slow and injured teh whole season and a new quarter back who couldnt pass cuz young recievers and no protection and they also could not run the ball cuz of the o line. It would be unfair to fire him now. But he better make the playoffs next year or else he should be fired
It is unlike Chicago to boo their own team hopefully that would be a wake up call. I think Lovie is a good guy, but he is too soft. To be as calm as he was after what Harris did, and the way they played is a perfect example. If I was in his position, that conference wouldn't even be aired and Harris's ears would probably be ringing. I would be livid, as you would expect any coach to be. Only way Lovie can make the Bears tougher, is if he becomes tougher himself. What he is now just isn't working
what the fuck happened to chicago? they actually improved their quarterback situation, have good receivers, improved their running backs with forte, they still have their super bowl coach, and they seem to have forgotten about their super bowl season just two short years back.
Biggest problem is The Pro Bowl Urlacher. Not only is Urlacher out for the whole season but Hilenmeyer the backup is constantly being injured putting a 3rd back up at that spot. Do you really think the Bears would have let Kurt Warner score on the like they did with a former probowl and defensive player of the year at the position?
(aabdel20) ok ok, thats true urlacher is a big part of the defense, but the offense was only able to put up 21 in that game vs the cardinals? and only 9 against SF? i think their problems are rooted much deeper than just loosing urlacher, every position seems to have either improved or equalized on offense since that 2007 super bowl team, my question again: with such an improved roster on offense and the same super bowl head coach, what the fuck is happening to the Chicago Bears?
(tealbluewhite) But then again we had 5 interceptions against San Francisco and all of those if not most of them happened near the red zone. Thats easy 21 points right there that we lost. Jay Cutler is Top 5 in the NFL in Passing yards so we know we improved greatly in our quarterback position. Its just that Matt Forte is slumping and that is hurting us...
When you lose by 40 pts 2 out of the past 3 games that is a COACHING break down. We've been out coached all year. EVEN the Lion game...the first half, they were lighting up our D.
