  • 2:14/2:15 that one high pitch tone makes the film's frame warp.

  • Hey, are you sure this is from 2002? I saw another live video from late 2001, and they were already developing the Beaches & Canyons electronic stuff. Considering the Troubleman 10" where these songs are from were recorded in 1999, I'm thinking this performance was pre-2002.

  • true story. i saw black dice in 1998 i think at a show at johns hopkins university. some big two or three day fest. there was a stage, but they played on the ground in front of the stage. there was a beer bottle on the stage and the singer whacked the bottle with his hand and it flew across the air and hit the bassist right in the face and broke all over his face and there was blood and whatnot. they finished the song with the bassist laying on the ground all bloody. punk rawk!

  • omg ty! This vid kicks so much ass and black dice are hard as fuck

  • oh my fucking god im so fucking glad this video is up black dice is my fav

  • you already said in the other video.

  • only chicks listen to Owl City you fag and mainstream is fucking brainwashed shit

  • @yariNL1, yeah I'm so tired of hearing this song on the radio.

  • Hahaha, I bet all the sXe hardcore kids couldn't 2 step or circle pit to this!

  • i don't have their S/T, did that release before or after cold hands EP?

  • @kontube it came out before cold hands. it has a pink and white cover. cold hands was the last release that sounded like this.

  • love this song

  • whaaat the fuck

  • thats eric on the mic right?

  • try to get s/t on troubleman records or even the very first "lambs like fruit" on gravity records..drummer hisham that left the band a few albums ago now has a project called soft circle.

  • I love this because I bet the straightedge hXc douchebags who work at chain hated it. This venue should be burned to the ground and replaced with a headshop. While were at it burn down the Arby's restaurant down the street from it. That place sucks too.

  • why burn down arby's? they have delicious sandwiches.

  • to be honest i can't really stand to listen to this but Beaches and Canyons is an album that changed my life completely. Their stuff from B&C and on is so much better than stuff in this video

  • is there any more?

  • every time i watch this i get the notion that the kid in front with the hat is like some type prop in their set like how aphex twin did. um.. watch?v=-G212r6ZWQM

  • this was by far the best era of black dice

  • This is totally the same fucking band. This shit ruled man. Total insanity. yo shit heads I'll sell you the semen in the sun 7 inch for 1,000,000 dollars. scene whore.

  • haha, the flute solo on that is worth twice as that

  • holy shite peeps. It's the same fucking Black Dice. They used to be a proto hardcore band before they started being experimental. One of my favorite clips of them...wow

  • holy shite peeps. It's the same fucking Black Dice. They used to be a proto hardcore band before they started being experimental. One of my favorite clips of them...wow

  • Experimental? That term doesn't make sense to me. what do you mean exactly by it?

  • ......

I mean, I knew they used to sound like this...

    ......

...but really? People moshing to Black Dice?

    Oh man.

  • I went to see them and I would have loved to have had a mosh pit

  • yup reeeinvention, same band, i have load blown which kokomo is on and its definitely the same band as this one, check out cold hands and youll see or check a discog

  • im sure its the same band they have a range of styles and influences

  • no there is only one, but they got remixed a lot when they were on DFA records and sounded more outright 'electronic'

  • black dice is a wild beast

  • BD are too talented and creative.

  • I especially like the older Black Dice stuff, but to me everything they've done is awesome. I favor the older over the newer, though.

  • philly fest 99? was even better, but same era, sick!

  • every era of Black Dice was a good era

    i love this band

  • amen

  • this was by far the best era of black dice

  • while i agree this was a very fun era of the band and i do love thier noisier stuff, and I know some purists will disagree but i think that since that they have become much better musicians and put out more interesting music than they did then.
