Why a hooked band? Why not a regular one? It looks so easy to do, the only thing is, I don't know where to get a hooked band. Can I just use a regular one?

@MissBethanyyx A hooked band holds the hair tightly, and for a long time. A regular hair tie will slowly slip off the hair. You can make your own hooked band by putting 2 bobbypins around the elastic and sort of anchoring it in the hair. It's hard to explain :p I'm sure if you searched for it on youtube you'd find a video explaining it.
