Why are people saying that the string section looks bored?

Take a better look, they're listening to the notes (they're musicians, after all). If you actually watch the full concert, it's even more obvious that the string ensemble is captivated, especially the female violinists, the black violinist and the 2 cellists.

Remember: Classic and Jazz musicians have mutual respect, as both their genres stand at the top of the music world in terms of musicianship.
