The way these animals live is far better then the way we farm animals in the western world. These animals have lived all their lives in their natural enviroment, and when they finally meet their predator they seem to accept their fate, as their species has done for as long as it has existed. It's goal in life fulfilled, their genes passed on, or not passed according to their fitness. The only thing I do not like is the joy these hunters seem to have. Hunting is a sad neccesity

This documentary left me feeling more positive about the breeders and hunting-park-owners than I had expected. It effectively shows the positive aspects of (sustainable) hunting. However, a positive effect is not good enough, it has to be better than non-existence. It corresponds to the prostitution industry, in many ways. What is left is the question if this is like Amsterdam (i.e. regulated, and somewhat by choice) or like Thailand.

I grew up in Namibia and South Africa and I spent much of my childhood hunting. This is typical of foreigners to come into my country with virtually no knowledge of real game hunting and play the big boy. Shooting Baboons is despicable, no African I know would even consider such a thing.

Hunters against prostitutions are the true hypocrits.
This documentary left me feeling more positive about the breeders and hunting-park-owners than I had expected. It effectively shows the positive aspects of (sustainable) hunting. However, a positive effect is not good enough, it has to be better than non-existence. It corresponds to the prostitution industry, in many ways. What is left is the question if this is like Amsterdam (i.e. regulated, and somewhat by choice) or like Thailand.

I would never want to kill another animal, only if i new it wanted to kill me, but i would love to kill these people due to the fact they just get a kick out of doing what they're doing. You hunt to feed your family, but now you don't have to, so what is it that's going through these guys heads? I don't like people who do harm to others for no reason, they deserve death, what they're doing isn't right.

I grew up in Namibia and South Africa and I spent much of my childhood hunting. This is typical of foreigners to come into my country with virtually no knowledge of real game hunting and play the big boy. Shooting Baboons is despicable, no African I know would even consider such a thing.

Then theres the question of the indigenous tribal people hunting with bows and arrows like the Koi snd. But theyr fine. They respect.

I meant the Rich *Guys and that last bit in the end was about the Koi Sand people who live in the Kalahari Desert and hunt for meat for hundreds of years living in balance with nature and just taking what they need from nature. Except for the Koi Sand everybody else who hunts must either have a license and hunt sparingly and within seasons and in designated reserves. Everybody else who hunts without any of these (except for the Koi) hunts illegally.

To have your thirst for bloodlust quenched (which is why these guys do this) means that youre truly not civillized as you think you are. You are just as primal and irrational as the animals you hunt. I mean whoever doesnt feel for the animals they kill really needs to have his/her heart checked out. Sorry if I offend any hunters here its just how I feel. Nature reserves should be for the benefit of nature not game.
