  • Définitivement une des meilleures interprétations de ce prélude.

  • Check also Rafael Orozco's amazing recording of this wonderful piece on youtube.

  • @simonvanthoff Yes I now Orozco, he is great pianist, I like his Rachmaninov very much !

  • @danadatz And his Chopin, I think his recordings of the Scherzi and Preludes are outstanding, uncomparable, I uploaded the first Scherzo already, the other three will follow in time; all of them are amazing!

  • @simonvanthoff I don`t undestand why Orozsco so little-known, he is one of greatest pianist XX century.

  • @danadatz Yes indeed, it's so strange. I think it has also something to do with his unconventional way of interpreting the great masterpieces: I understood his Chopin for example for a lot of critics was too harsh, too exaggerated almost, too 'masculine' and so forth. And maybe, if he lived longer (only 50!) he would have become more better known...Unfortunately, I've never saw him live.

  • Ahhhh what a beauty. It's a strong reper for my playing. RIP Berman. The middle section is a gem.

  • I've been comparing this one on YouTube and it is the best recording, although Lisitsa is my favorite all-around pianist, she might be the next best.

  • OMFG!!!! WONDERFUL!!

  • The middle section is like a whirlwind.

  • amazing the middle part is exactly how it should sound

  • uahaaa check out the middle part this is great what he did with the voices
