  • Now I Can See What a E30 M3 Can Do..

    Thanks For Sharing

    Great Video!

  • how did 4 people dislike this video? that's treason!

  • @exodus454 mercedes drivers???? or audi :P

  • @WaffenBWC well, if you were to get an M3, the E30 would be your best bet! the 4 cyl. doesn't drink anything compared to it's 6 and 8 cyl. brethren

  • . . . and heres a minivan!

  • I WANT THAT MINI VAN!!

  • i love e30s

  • That mini van is sick!

  • nice mini van

  • thumbs up for him being an asshole.

  • 3:55 - he's not being an asshole - he is showing us why they made bmw rwd not fwd :)

  • That car is the most beutiful bmw ever made. My dreams are made of this

  • such a cool little car ^^

  • 3:00 "And here's a minivan," lol,

Great car, i would leave it stock but the mods are tasteful enough to be appreciated in all its m3 glory

  • @billjim123

lol i love that part and theres a mini van you could tell he got nervous his buddy wouldn't see it and hit it. also and there hes being a asshole lol

  • you know any E30 forums? Selling E30s, selling E30 motor, tells you what state they are or atleast on east coast?

  • dont talk over the m3 >:[

  • You should restore ths piece.

  • sidescrollin: timing belt LOL M3s don't have them.

  • @BikeWise1 nope, no timing belt. it has two bavarian engineers communicating through morse code informing each other of cam and crank positions. (ie, the world's most expensive timing chain)

  • Gee, so that chain I changed on mine doesn't really do anything? I coulda saved weight by leaving it off.... :-)

  • Nice rims.

  • Beatiful car, just keep it original.

  • I hope you will keep it original.

I wheep at all the movies on youtube with the e30 m3's with all those awfull turbo's on it.

  • That must be the most excellent car in the world! :-/

  • Sound great good looking. 5 stars!

  • best car m3 1987

  • well the '90 was a little better ;) with the evo 3 head and ignition :)

  • this cars a nice, weigh nothing, and have great handling. But they have the most retarded interior door handles (i mean placement) and Damn If I dont hate working on the thing.

  • I think they're great to work on.. couldn't be much more simple. Except when you get to the engine though, that can get a little tedious!

  • lol what else is there to work on? the interior? I hate how crammed the front of the engine bay is, you need to take out the radiator for almost anything, the fan is a pain to take off, if the bolts dont magically come out the starter is impossible because botls are on the bellhousing and the timing belt is idiotic. Fortunately they run for a long time but when you gotta work on them its annoying as hell.

  • @exodus454 try swapping the engine for a s50 or s52 =)

  • @exodus454 some e30's dont have extra injectors (allow extra fuel when starting the engine, w/e you wanna call em) , so they don't always start super quick and can get a "vapor lock" type effect with them... i have a chipped e30 ix and that's the case w/ mine... not a problem, just a unique feature of the car... it pretends to be italian (reliability joke)

  • @scalku I don't think any BMWs have extra injectors, maybe you're talking about startup/warm enrichment through the ecu? these things have suuuuper primitive ecus.

  • very nice mate

  • thank you!

  • "...and here's a minivan..." hahahaha, nice m3. I wish mine could compare

  • Beautiful Girl! Take care of her Dude!

  • Bitchin!

  • Do these thing handle like a dream?

  • In one word - absolutely.

  • Awesome m3! It looks like mine, except i bought the aftermarket deep dish 16' bmw rims. Your exhaust sounds much louder than my bmp exhaust tho, when you put that on did u have to tune it in order to get the backpressure just right?

  • Nope, it's just a bolt-on replacement. Tuning for backpressure wouldn't be worth it unless trying to extract every ounce of power from the engine. This was just a replacement for the factory exhaust which was rotting out.

  • what a georgeous M3..

    for all you people wondering

    BMW E30 M3 contains a M10 inline 4 cylinder

    with a 2.3L-16v motor pushing 192hp STOCK!!!

you have to tell me where you got it from and how much beautiful car!!!

  • Thank you! It's a fantastic car.

To clarify, the E30 ///M3 uses an S14 engine. As you said is a 2.3L 16v engine. It has a stock redline of 7200rpm, which when chipped gets raised to 8000.

The engine was designed using a bored M10 block which was used in the 320i and the 2002. The head on the S14 is a modified M88 head off the ///M1, with essentially two cylinders chopped off.

I found mine in Pennsylvania at a Corvette dealer. $10k w/ 120,000 miles, but it needed someone to love it.

  • nice car!

  • ...and here is a mini-van ^^

    Sounds really good! Nice M3!

  • When you install a straight 6-cyl into the e30 M3, the value goes down hill.

  • And what? Dont understand what your point is.

  • My point is the car is no longer in its original form. Therefore, it is not worth anymore of the original counterpart. I hope you now understand. If not, just watch Barret Jackson auctions sometimes.

  • Im still confused why you mention 6 cylinder in your previous comment on the other page, this car is a 4 cylinder. The car seems pretty original to me and would make good money any day of the week.

  • in sweden the E36 M3 has 286hp (first opnes) second edition have 321hp, but E30 still always been 4cyl 195

  • arent m3's a straight 6 engine produciong 240bhp or is it becasue its a euro spec bmw???

  • E30 M3's had the S14 4-cylinder producing 195 at the crank. E36 M3's were the straight 6 producing 240hp.

  • i thought there was straight 6 in the e30!! ive seen them with the 2.5 straight 6? maybe not lol cheers for the info

  • yeah stright 6 2.5 is the lower model next down the 325i WITH LIKE 172 hp AND they M3 with a smaller engine producing more power which makes it amazing

  • cool im a bit more clued up on bmws now!! but thanks for the reply

  • the sport evolution ones had a 2.5 4 cylinder. A lot of people also get the 2.5 stroker kit for theirs. From TMS

  • right now the car is getting ready to be taken off the road and restored. possibilities being discussed are 2.3 N/A 9500rpm capable, 2.5, or supercharging one of the former. it's a tough decision!
