thank you drock2170 for making me look up the rule. your right the book has been changed so that players can take 3 steps. Jordan is a good comparison, they are very similar in that they get the superstar calls. that was the point i was trying to make. but just so my ego is not totaly destroyed the number 9 dunk is still a travel as he takes his first step with his pivot foot befor he dribbles the ball. i hate him because of his attitude check crab dribble and these are calls he expects to get.

lebron has been offered many times by sprite to be in a dunk contest but he declined. the reason is (i read this in sports illustrated) is because he doesnt want to be known as a dunker. take for instance, domnique wilkins. i bet most everybody that reads this knows him as a dunker, not a great scorer or all-around player, but somebody who can only dunk. HE ACTUALLY SCORED 26,000 POINTS! thats why lebron wants to be known as a scorer and all around player as oppose to someone who can just dunk.
