You people saying that it is from Half-Life, that the filmmaker is ripping this off of the Combine with the gas maks, are very stupid people, who do not think before posting.

Gas mask is Russian PFB, from long before any of half-life character are even being thought of in video game makers head. Russians use this mask. So, it makes sense that Russians in film use mask. Is not half-life!

Walking with this box 9.5 km from Park Pobedy to Staropanskij lane he was OK. But after activating the box he killed the old man & was killed himself by a crazy bus dashing one way street in wrong way. Even gzhel styled android was seriously damaged. For anyone who's interested. Russian DOP was behind this short. His name is Roman Vasyanov. I just found out myself. He's got a site romandop dot com. Not affiliated, just wanted to share if there are any cinematography buffs reading this. And a bit of trivia. Roman just shot the first Russian film with a Canon DSLR for which he won best cinematography at Kinotavr Film Festival

@sixamsedna thanks I was wondering who was responsible for the great cinematography. I wonder what the budget was, and how the director got the money to shoot it. I read an article that said the Red One was the camera that was used. And who did the CGI? It's so frustrating (as an aspiring director myself) how some people can get the best CGI team, award winning cinematographer and a good budget to make their films. Raising money is by far the hardest part of making a short film.
