First, the financial crisis doesn't directly deal with the actual health and lives of the people, unlike the Melanin panic which already killed many many people directly by poisoning. Second, The United States support the world economy and encourages its growth, unlike the Chinese who've been repeatedly exporting poisoned contaminated food to the entire world. And third, The United States is taking steps to actually solving the problem, unlike the chinese who dont give a shit about others' lives

Also, in terms of dishonorable acts, let us not bring that subject up because all major powers (US, UK, Russia, China, Japan, etc) have their own original sin. There is no way one can count who is leading in that ranking in terms of frequency and severity. (5) Yes, US is trying to fix this "toxic" financial products problem. Just like the Chinese government (the product safety head was fired, suspects arrested with death sentence possibilities, product quality regulation updated, etc). These are all reactive, after the fact, moves. Unfortunately, we have crooks in all societies.

(6) Do not blindly state or echo that China does not care about the world economy. It is illogical and irrational. If the world economy (or even US economy) is ill, China has nowhere to ship their manufactured products which is a major pillar of their economy.

(7) Due to globalization, all products are interleaved with multi-nation interests and profits. (A product has many value points: research, design/develop, manufacture, logistics, marketing, sales, etc. China owns only one of the profit points in "made-in-China" product, all the rest could be US profits.) That is why Beijing is also working closely with Washington on the current financial "tsunami" crisis. (E.g. Bush called Hu I suppose to ask China to support by holding on to their US debt.)

i know that space technology benefits whole of mankind but china must stop with these CG effects and stop faking these things like they did with the fireworks during the olympics~ I believe it is fake because the china media blundered in releasing news that was 3 days too soon and then deleting it calling it technical error, 4 distinct instances of air bubbles on the video, unnatural movement of the flag in the VACUME of space, and no atmosphere seen on the earth in the vid. American space walk is like Egyptians building pyramids, Chinese space walk is like Modern pyramids. so, you can say that we are all 2000 years inferior than the Egyptians.
The Facts is:
YOU are watching this on high definition TV, whereas the Americans space walk was barely recorded
YOU can see how the astronauts in the capsule, you can only just hear them back in the 60s.
YOU see space simulators, high tech images etc, that were unimaginable back in the 1960

Eventhough the Red Chinese copied the Russians in some of their space techs, the chinese improves most of the avionics inside their space capsule using digital glass cockpit technology instead of Russia's 60's tech of cursor stick & steamgauge dials, my compliments to them Chinese. With their political will & economic might I'm not supprise if China would be the first to colonised the moon before the U.S. or Russia in less then a decade, so you Yanks & Ruskies better step up..

U.S. shuttle program will be grounded in 2009. It will pay Russians billions for space transport. In 20 years, US will not have the engineering knowledge to repair the Hubble.

Oh please - the shuttle isnt the only thing we have to launch - US has numerous launch vechicles in use. You cant even build a shuttle. Engineering knowledge? Thats not a definite decision...thats a plan in case funds for the shuttle until the ISS is completed--which is schedule to retire-- don't get the go from Congress. Its not something about engineering but politics.
NASA after all is already in the planning stages of another craft to replace the Shuttle.
Plus it has a Moon Mission to be completed before 2020, a Manned Mars Mission by 2035 and even hundreds of other projects in space and on Earth.

I am surprised by some comments here. They seriously underestimate Chinese achievement. Remember when the USA landed on the moon, the Chinese were recovering from a famine a few years earlier that killed millions.
French scientists today discussing the Chinese space walk on French TV, noted the technology was as good as much of the best western technology and in other cases just a few years behind. And certainly better than the US space shuttle that is now very

In 1969 USA managed to launch first man on the moon by space shuttle. After that space was explored & black holes etc were discovered. Then the earth was explored for hidden assets by space satellites. Then comes the space war in which USA is still unable to thrive in the first stage. China has already destroyed its own satellite in space from the earth about 22 months ago & currently performed a booming space walk. Does that prove that China must be accepted as the new Super Power on the globe?
