  • nice, thnx for the tips, I will try this with my Karmin Salon Pro Professional Hair Dryer which is the best one I've tried,. :D

  • This is defo not for my hair type. Learnt a good tip however, you do not need the cold button if you do your hair properly.

  • my arms always die after blowing out hair lol

  • No cold button on my dryer. How do you keep your hair from not getting tangled in the hair!!

  • Amazing video! Always to great seeing new techniques!!

  • You'll get a better result if u use the nozzle

  • Hi i have been using boar bristle brush when blowdrying and the bristles actually got burned, then i noticed i had a small white patch on my hair where it got burned, what i'm i doing wrong i spray protectant on, is it too much heat?

  • shes pretty and nice lol

  • i really love blow drying my hair like this , its so much easier than straighting your hair with a straightner , i recommend for everyone to do this , ! (:

  • you spelled babaii wrong -__-

  • thank you!

  • What if the hair is think and curly (like minority that are african american or hispanic)? Can they use the same techniques?

  • @j2cool2 Great question, and Yes the technique will be a little different. For example, product is KEY when blowdrying hispanic or naturally curly hair as it acts as an extra force to hold the hair straight while blowdrying. Also it is important to use a LARGE round, boar bristle brush. With super curly hair, a quick run over the blowdried hair with a flat iron may be necessary too to 100% straight locks. Hope this helps!

  • Love this video, but I have long hair. Any tips I should keep in mind?

  • @RJuanderful Yes! Do not wind a hair section around the brush too much - that will only tangle it. When blowdrying a section, start with the roots [twist twist] then move to the middle of the secion [twist twist] then finish at the ends of the section. We also recommend starting the blowdrying process when your hair is almost 50% dry. You may create too much frizz if you blowdry starting when the hair is still dripping wet.

  • i have a lot of layers in my hair, short layers on the top of my head at the back and stuff.

  • @historybuff2o1o try a bristled brush, this may not work for thin hair. But those typed of brushes are easier to work with and not tangle and get stuck in thickish hair

  • If you're not a professional, how do you prevent your hair from getting stuck in the round brush while you're blow drying?

  • try a roundbrush with a metal barrel

  • OMG this video saved my life!! I never knew how to straighten my hair without having my mom to do it for me, but now I can know how to do it myself!!! Thnx sooooooooo much for posting this!!

  • u make it look so easy lol i just recently cut my hair short like urs bit wut wit layers n my hair is curly so its hard to blow dry n straighten it everytime i wash it >_< grr so complicated

  • look on youtube for Wahl Rapunz hairbrush cleaner it cleans electric your brush in seconds

  • Wow you opened the secret of perfect hair! Thanks very much!

  • great vid but its performing not preforming

  • LOL I had to learn how to blow dry with a round brush to my BF because he watch silkhairTV and he wasn't able to do it .. I help him XD !!

  • What is the test to indicate whether your hair is 70% - 80% dry? I feel my hair and I can't tell if it is that dry or not.

  • Thank you SO much! Its been so hard for me to style my hair.. It always looks great after the hairdresser, but then bad the next day because I didnt know how to style it.. This really helps. THANK YOU1

  • ypu are pretty (no homo) :) i love your vids..... i have naturally thick straight hair and i have a front fringe.i wouldlike to give my bangs a little lift so they wont be so flat can you do a tutorial please :)

  • i have pretty long hair and they tend 2 get stuck on my round brush tho its not so detailed

  • short arms? YEAH RIGHT, i would kill for arms like yours!

  • Sexy.

  • Performing is spelled wrong.

  • Since she already has straight hair it's more easier for her :/

  • It's not that easy! Probably taken her 30 min or more to do and months, even a year to get that good at! The only way to learn it is to do it at least 100 times!

  • Thank you so much for this great demonstration!! I have always struggled with blow drying my own hair. After watching it, I went out and bought a round brush, clips and styling products!! It is going to take more practice but my hair looks SO much better than it normally does. I have often asked my hairdresser how to blow dry it and she just says it takes alot of practice, that's fine but I have to know WHAT to practice lol. Thank you :)

  • volyum. xD

  • This sounds great and looks great on YOUR hair but i did what you said and my hair is naturally thick and wavy/curly and it turned out volumized, but in a complete state of FRIZZ. it was disgusting.

SO my way to fix that is to brush it all back into a tight, ballerina bun, for a couple of hours and that pretty much fixes it.

  • thanks for the vid, I always struggle with my hair.

It gets tangled around the brush, holding the hair dryer is awkward ... pain in the bum.

  • PLEASE REPLY (ANYONE): i have natraully super strait hair will this still work on me? Cause i noticed that her hair had a bit of waves in them

  • @coolgirl9583 hey i have a bob and my natural hair are really straight too i tried this method with just a normal brush and it did work but i found that after a few hours the hairs start to loose the volume and get in their original shape.

  • I have long hair (ends on my lower back) and although I would like to try this, it just seems like it would be so time consuming for me and would just hurt my arms :(. Is there another way you can show to volumize long hair?

  • i tried today but my hair still didnt straightened!

i use a round brush, hair dryer and a heat protectant. no effect on me D:

  • @skinfuz Is your brush ceramic? sometimes if I try to blow dry with a brush that doesn't heat well, or a blowdryer that doesn't get hot enough,I also have results I'm not happy with. The more coarse and thick your hair the higher heat and air flow setting you will need.

  • @hairtalkTV

my brush stated it can withstand high heat don know if ceramic.

when i blowdry at high speed, its too hot on my face.

the brush always entangle with my hair as i move it up. do you think i can use a flat brush to straightened it too?

  • @skinfuz Try to angle the blowdryer so that its pointing toward your hair but not your face, its all in the way you hold it you have to hold your arm higher so that its hitting the hair and angled down. Yes you can blowdry with a flat brush although its a bit of a different technique. Make sure your flat brush is vented to allow air flow through to dry.

  • @skinfuz go buy frizz-ease 3 days straight along w all this

...trust me i had the same problem u do. it makes a HUGE difference

  • @skinfuz Same here, didn't work for me.

  • It is a little flat at the top......but it's a good video :)

  • when she gets to the end of her hair she goes back up, twisting the hair around the brush as she goes up. how does she do that? i can never figure that out. it seems more efficient but my hair always gets stuck around the brush. any suggestions?

  • best in youtrube

  • thanks for the video..i had been having problems since i got my hair done trying to dry my hair with the round brush..it was not coming out smooth..I am going to try this tomorrow and see how it works..thanks!

  • it would look better with some more volume around your face since it has a pretty long shape:)volume at the crown are good for round shaped faces

  • 0:24 blowout!!!! HA! lol :L rofl

  • Lol, "And It's kind of hard with my short arms" idk why, but that made me giggle... Your arms don't seem that short...?

Great videos! They're so informative, and gives me a ton of tips... Since I just usually wear my hair down... I'm a plain type of person.

  • THANK YOU....very much for showing how to ACTUALLY blow drying your own hair...

I found this very helpful...thanks again...

  • yes well try blowdrying super long hair like this....no so easy.

  • I don't know much about hair and would like to so I can style it properly. My question is, when using a flat iron for very fine thin hair what temperature should it be? I know each flat iron ranges from different temps and heat up differently but an estimate? Thanks.

  • wish it were this simple for long hair. my hair is to my waist and this would never work.

  • so how do I blowdry and use the brush if I want my hair to be a bit flatter and soft. My hair is very thick and full of volume.

does your technique also work for that or do I have to do it differently?

  • Doesn't the round brush increase the chances of getting split ends, since it's so bristly?

  • Thankyou for this! I just got a cute haircut that requires a blow out such as this when I realized I had no idea how to go about it! Your hair looks great! :)

  • are u racist?

  • @imdabomliketictock absolutely not.

  • @hairtalkTV well than do some black people hair on your show, you will have more viewers trust me

  • @imdabomliketictock yeah let's see Jennifer model an afro wig.

  • @hairtalkTV why would she be racist????

  • @imdabomliketictock Seriously?

  • @imdabomliketictock Wtf? Lmao

  • i love this vid but wat if u dnt want more volume and if u dnt have a small round brush and just a big one please respond?

  • you have like no hair.

  • really helpful.

    thnx!

    :)

  • I'm so glad that i'm not a girl...

  • I looove this video very informative especially with product knowledge and technique thank you thank you and once more thank you :)

  • wow you talk like you know all your stuff i like your vids alot!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for this video!! this is the best so far so im gonna try your method next time i wash my hair!!

  • thats exactly how i dry mine :)

  • how bout for people who long hair and is thick, I cant do it is so hard, but you did a great job, I remember last time I try to do it, my hair got tangle on the round brush and it took 3 people to take that brush out of my hair, with a comb, and 90 mintutes, my hair is too thick and long :(

  • She has shorter hair, I would try not to completely spin the brush as she's doing, just do it a little bit and have a brush that isn't as bristled.

  • thanks this really helped :) yayyyy haha

  • Could you do a video on how to use a diffuser? i really would like to know.

  • @sugarcrash1000 I'm trying to work on one now!

  • Nice!It looks cute. Good to see you style your own natural hair although I still miss your longer hair!

I like this style on you too. Seems low maintenance.

  • omg i love your hair it looks so healthy i am supper jealous! haha loved this video♥

  • I wish I could do this - but my hair is down to my waist and it's very difficult to blow dry with any kind of brush.

  • thank you so much!! now i can do this!

  • Great vid, easy to understand i've watched a couple of other videos on blow drying with a round brush and they were to diffiuclt to understand.

  • LOVE your videos! They are so informative and that makes them so enjoyable to watch.

  • thanks sooooo much!! i really needed to learn how to do this. i have thick wavy hair, so i always have to flat iorn it to get the same smooth effect...
