  • I'm thrilled. This is what my soul needed.

  • I remember hearing one of these music boxes in person at a store while Christmas shopping @ the old Crossroads Mall in downtown SaltLakeCity when I was young. I remember it was so beautiful in person that I wanted to cry. Thanks for posting.

  • O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum, wie grün sind deine Blätter!

  • Very nice machine and tune! Never realized the sound these machines produced........Odd everyone switched to scratchy sounding records............lol

  • @WinterHaven Thanks for the great comments!

  • @MusicBoxBoy I shared it as a Christmas greeting even to a Congressman who enjoyed it very much!

  • @WinterHaven Awesome! Thanks again for the nice comments and for sharing.

  • Very nice! Are the perforations on the disk for the high notes always near the outer edge?

  • @amiedetherese Thanks for the nice comments! Yes, the highest notes on a music box disc are nearest the outer edge while the bass notes are nearest the center of the disc.

  • Doug, "Silent Night" sounds so graceful on your music box. The notes of the song leave a trail of sparkling sound; I would guess that this is the music box equivalent of accompaniment.

  • @EdisonSquirrel Thanks so much, Rocky. That's most of the reason why I enjoy disc music boxes so much is that lovely resonating sound that is heard after the teeth are struck. Your comments are always appreciated.

  • Full notes, so to speak, on those disks....as some are not so well done. Thanks. God bless.

  • @geriatricguru Thanks, as always, for your gracious and very much appreciated comments.
