Is Midnight Resistance a clone of Konami's Contra series? NO! Midnight Resistance had rotating joysticks for aiming fire arms easier.

Data East ran into some tough times in the late 90s in which they struggled to avoid bankruptcy, but it wasn't enough to save them in 2001.
