  • This is beautiful Craig! Many thanks for this video!

  • I always wanted to see this and never have. Looks really great. Unusual but effective choice of music. There are moments here that look really contemporary, too. Very nice introduction to this film, I feel.

  • ♥ .

  • Nicely made!

  • @TK42138 thanki you!

  • @ForCarolToEnjoy Carol u made my day!

  • @gloheart1 Aww Gloria that is so nice of you!

  • Any films with nuns in them I give a wide berth to!! However this film is very well made and you have given this a good choice of music background!! Your editing as usual is first class!! Well done!!

  • @MAGICKMINSTREL718 thank u very much my Friend!

  • @LoneRiderProduction as always thank u Glenn..damn Copyrights..lol

  • The words you used for the movie are the same I use for your video: elegant and stunning!

(By the way, any movie with Deborah Kerr, is, by nature, elegant and sometimes even stunning.)

Just one stupid question. How is it that there is a black border on all the four sides of the video?

  • @christopher242424 thank u so much Chris....the borders are a YT thing ..can't explain!

  • @CRAIGSWORLD1427 I liked the black borders.

  • This was on TCM not too long ago, and I started to watch it, but then changed my mind and went to sleep. Your video made me wish I had stayed up and watched it. Great job, Craig, as usual.

  • @darkmountains7 I am sure it will be on again!..thank u!

  • Wonderful video! It's beautiful to see the landscapes in The East, instead on a Hollywood set. An emotional film, well cast. This music is ideal. 5**s

  • @PlayIt4MeAgainSam thank u Lia!

  • I got curious to see the movie! I know the title, but I've never seen. Beautiful image of Deborah Kerr in the foreground! Great music, perfectly fitted to the images! Thumbs up!

  • @TheBigValley as always thank you Mirko!

  • Craig, you did it again. Your combination of film clips and choice of music creates a calming beauty to this video.

  • @suncore598 aww shucks..lol..thank u!

  • ...had the luck to see this on the big screen...sexy, erotic, passionate......Powell and Pressburger made the first nunsploitation movie...hope your tribute turns others on to it.

  • @illaveyoubutler2 would love for that to happen..and am jealous u got to see this on a big screen..lol

  • i haven't seen this movie but great job on the video!! always love Enigma.

i'll have to watch it :))

  • @camaro5229 thank u so so much!

  • WOW! Very beautiful, Craig! I didn't know this movie, it looks amazing!

  • @70puck thank u dear Monica!

  • Another excellent job there Craig! It's amazing how you connect all these movie classics together! You have helped bring back many memories of some I've long forgotten about. The first clip ( I forgot his name) was in the movie classic "The Thief Of Bagdad" (I think came out in 1961). Thanks again for all your hard work putting this and others together.

    ~Joe~

  • @TheBacmaster thank u my friend Joe!

  • I don't need to tell you that this is another great tribute: you know it is! Beautiful, beautiful stuff. The best use of the early Technicolor process. Deborah Kerr (again, beautiful!!). If it weren't for Scorsese's adoration of Powell's films, I probably would never have seen this. I hope you're doing okay, man, and thanks for *not* making a compilation of, er, "Shelley-Winters-drowning" films or try to polish the "Night of the Lepus" turd, to really milk my earlier bad jokes.

    ~Jeff

  • @IDoNotBlameYou lol..u r going to laugh at my next video then..lol!

  • Wow! What an impressive compilation/tribute! It's in my personal top 10. The scenery, cast, storyline, well the whole movie is gorgeous! Thanks!

  • @2stroke4Me u have excellent taste!

  • Exquisite presentation of the beauty ,sensuality and story of this very moving and beautiful film I love you chose this song of Enigma very nice with the video !

  • @opensecret51 thank u so much Masha!

  • I love this film, my favourite 2 Powell's are "Red Shoes" than this masterpiece. Excellent video tribute, and song goes excellent with video.

  • @zigifrojd thank u..yes we both agree this time..lol

  • Nice upload. What's this song? I've been looking for it or one that just sounds like it for my 90's mixtape. I love the the chanting.
