Yeah and than after the third day when the graphics blend in and you get down to see how much the game actually sucks you realize you just wasted 60 bucks. I own Live and thought it was the shit, but than I got 2K and it just makes Live look like shit. Almost every 2K hater has either never played 2K or knows nothing about the game of basketball. I'm not saying your a 2K hater, I used to be, but you have to play both than you'll see 2K is so much better.

wow i love this game i have nba live 08 for ps2 it sucks in dynasty mode everybody averages like 40 points and the defensive player of the year averages like 0.32 steal and 0.45 blocks but in this game they hav realistic stats and unlike in nba live 08 for ps2 it feels like an actuall game when you get fouled you acually react from where you where hit this is crazy!

I have live and 2k8 and 2k8 has way better gameplay. in nba live all you have to do is go into the paint with kobe or lebron and press square and u dunk and get a 3 point play. in nba live there are also cheat tactics. u will get the offenseive rebound everytime u miss a freethrow short.

I used to be a 2k basketball fan,until i played mna live 08 for the ps3 and I have to admit that nba live 08 is a lot more realistic than any other basketball game out there, I played them both and decided to buy nba live 08 and do not regret it !

I thought the player models in 2k7 looked and still look better than they do in 2k8. Yes, I"m saying 2k7 looks better than 2k8 in many regards. I think the gameplay is a bit tighter in 2k8, but they really need to improve those player models for 2k9. While NBA Live 08 didn't play quite as well as 2k8, the graphics are amazing. If 2K can make their game play with those amazing graphics, count me in for 2k9.
