  • I love my home Ekalaka MT u ROCK

  • funny i use to leave in ekalaka and when ever i went out there other people where there too lol i never went out there and nobody be there and i lived in ekalaka for 18 years

  • These are so cool! I almost fell off one once.

  • I'm glad you liked it!

I traveled between Alzada and Ekalaka a few years ago. That's when I decided I wanted to move to western North Dakota.

This is a great area of the country.

  • If you like Medicine Rocks, you should totally visit Devil's Canyon, just about an hour South on the same road in Wyoming.

  • I've never visited Devil's Canyon, but I'd like to. I did continue south once and found myself on a long stretch of gravel, and then I came out in Alzada, MT. I don't think I followed the same road.

  • to many people down there at the wyoming parks in the black hills this is a kinda primitive like the man said!!!

  • good work documenting medicine rocks, one of my favorite places in the world.

  • It's quite a place. I took my parents there and they were really impressed. They don't even like the Great Plains!

  • we drove there in the summer of '97. not only did we have the whole park to ourselves evidently, we saw no one on the road in for at least 60 miles except for a lone road runner. the rocks are spectacular, of course, but too i recall the vast sky, a soft wind riffling that expansive rolling carpet of grasses and wildflowers and the deep, warm bell-like booming silence. magnificent, magical place.

  • I'm glad you liked it. You really were blessed to grow up in such a great area.

  • This park is one of the state's best kept secrets. Although you have to hand-pump to get water if you camp there, it is so worth it!!! (And the water is sweet and cold!) Although I love the video, I would edit out the carving comment; it only encourages desecration of the site. Medicine Rocks SP is magical and beautiful and fantastic for kids, as they can wander for hours with no worries (except rattlers or a fall, but heck, that's MT!) And don't forget the dino museum in Ekalaka! AMAZING!

  • My mom grew up near Baker and has always talked about this place. We have some pictures from the 30's and I've always wanted to visit. Thanks for sharing your videos.

  • I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm an "import" to the area myself and I enjoy showing it off.

  • ya in 1rst grade we went on a feild trip and we (me and ibelievemr) found all these kewl rox and tunnels. Its purty sweet
