  • Quelles sont les échelles utilisez-vous?

  • très bien ;)

  • TABS!!!

  • It's pretty good... I personally think it might have sound a little funkier if you put a little more 'wa wa' into it.... But maybe that's just how I like to play...

    But it's good nonetheless...

  • hey Bao, ça barde :-)

  • Funky and nice!

  • i think this vid is better than the rest of the jazz harmonica vids on youtube. keeps it simple and it sounds good!

  • tocas muy bien!! pero te falta ponerle un poco de sentimiento a lo que tocas, se nota en el rostro

  • De acuerdo. You have great chops and all the notes are right, but somehow it doesn't sound like you're really feeling it here. I'm not trying to knock you as a player and I wish I could get around the harp like you do. I'm just honestly telling you what I hear, or don't hear, on this vid. Best wishes.

  • What key are you in?

  • MAN! exellent version! Where can I get that backing track? And if you have the leadsheet, is there a possibility that you can send it to me by e-mail? I live in Norway, and going to play it with my school band, but we have no lead sheet.

    Again! GREAT!

  • you seem so relaxed the whole time playing the song! cool;)

  • si abbe xo nn te scaccola

  • Are you using a minor tuned harp?

  • no, a country tuned harp

  • uh, is that a joke?

  • no, it's true. one convenient thing about country tuned harp in comparison to the standard richter is you can bend the 5 hole from F# to F

  • Thats pretty interesting, I wouldn't have expected a country tuned harp to sound so jazzy. I'll try one out.

  • Nice! very nice! sounds like sax!

  • i gotta learn that!

  • yo it is good yo

  • If anyone might happen to have a lead sheet of this song, please contact me via youtube messaging, I really need it

  • if u need it so much you could just transcribe it

  • Nice playing to a nice tune.

Pity you didn't post-process the sound and compressed your harp a bit.

  • Cool playing. Nice job.

  • I love this !

  • you mustnt move your face. you must move the harmonica =)

  • what if i can do both =)

  • lol,kitty..there's no such thing as 'must' as far as how one plays his/her harmonica, diatonic or chromatic. Some play tb, some lipblock...but it's all good. There are many types of vibrato too. Some read, some play by ear...Whatever floats your boat, and enables you to make the best music you can. Let's hear it for No RUlES!

  • @kittylovesdog Doesn't at all matter. What counts is accuracy, tone, and timing. Look! Stevie Wonder moving both his head and the chrom! Youtube: watch?v=bodOObk5K00

  • Great!!! greetings from Chile. Luis Villarroel- ARMONICAS CHILENAS

  • Nice playin'!This song is actually rather funky than jazzy, that's why you can improvise to it with a standard diatonic. You would need a chromatic or an overblow harp to play Jazz.

Keep on playing all genres of good music! ;)

    Best wishes!

  • Overblows on a diatonic enable all keys, though on a C diatonic, D minor is a good impro key.

  • By "good" I mean "easier"

  • improv should feel the same in all keys!

  • Well, you dont need overblow harp to do overblows/overdraws, you just need a diatonic harp.

  • great!

  • thirteenth ;)

  • yeah man !!! it's terrific !! in which psoition do play ? eleventh ?

    2beaware !

  • hi!:)

thanx for your comments. i am french.

  • hey, where are you from?

    Cheers,

    F.

  • I like, it's fresh! Quite hard with a diatonic harmonica, isn't it?
