Not to late. Maybe Nova will build it. New york city transit would buy them. New Flyer stopped making hf articulated buses. They would buy from Nova if they build those along with other systems.
New York city transit is buying them. They are low floor. The section in the back where you sit higher seats 18 people. That section should be bigger with the rear door more forward so it seats 25 people. I do not like at all sitting in the low floor seats. If you are a tourist trying to see the max on both sides. The low floor seats will allow you to see higher on both sides. I see that. My idea should be done. Nycta should of bought 35 more New Flyer HF Artic buses 1999 to 2004.
Also New York city transit in 2004 was testing 40 foot Neoplan hf buses once Nova was not making them any more. 135 should of been purchasesd. That much bought every year. That company would of kept making them. Those would be used on busy routes like the m10, b11 b16. Routes with trips with 30 or more people on at the same time. HF buses seat more people. Are more comfortable. They seat 6 more people at the front of the bus. I think about that every time I get on the b35, and it is full.
Ad another car. then there will be a Bi-Articulated bus! there are many around the world

theangrytruckdriver 2 years ago
I wouldn't think an Advantages would make a good bus for Artics in my opinion but a Phantom probably would and they should have back in 80s/early 90s

why does that Nova RTS look wierd is it a newer model because i thought RTS stopped making that series after the 1999 NovaBus RTS-06
jeanetdun 2 years ago
@jeanetdun Actually it was 2002. Detroit DDOT has 2001-02 NovaBus RTS-06s

The NovaBUS RTSA

ironically, GM did build three articulated RTSs then decided that demand wouldn't be high enough and
scrapped the idea, one mored reason why GM is no longer in the bus business

Nova's are urglyyy
Orions and the newest ones are nicer...I like the fishbowls too
admydragon 2 years ago
Nova's aew beasts!! The look as if they're gonna go through a brick wall, but yes fishbowls all the way!!
046547717 2 years ago
@admydragon The RTS's aren't ugly. NYC's MTA Surface has them. But make them the "accordions" and they'll look like this.

it would also be cool if they had an articulated orion v

I think that the back section of the bus would be a little longer - maybe by one more window, either normal size or a small window.

It was a demo and was found only on GM property. It was also at an old APTA expo in the 80's.

subway007 3 years ago
You read my mind, I was actually thinking about that lol, not a bad idea at all...or, how about an articulated MCI Classic lmao
046547717 3 years ago
For your two next articulated projects, consider an Articulated GM Fishbowl and GM/MCI Classic.
