I dunno, maybe they give credit to Pulp, Jarvis used a song for his last album from another band (i forget which) It's Black Magic. They're other stuff is alright, but this is definitely... heavily... influenced. yeah.
Its like... they ripped off Pulp and instead of being creative they got the title from the music video..... it's horrible that a band a creatively bankrupt as this make a penny out of what they do... I mean a lot of mainstream 'indie' or lad rock is rubbish but at least they come up with their own ideas.
I agree. The Enemy rip off so many songs from so many different bands it's unbelievable. Amazingly, I still quite like them. It's SO obvious that it kind of works.
Their ok they relatively good but there tragically pretencious and massively over rated they make big verbose statements in these songs at the end of the day their rich musicians singing generic cliches still it sounds relatively good.
