@boredtodeath55 If I'm not mistaken, he plans it ahead and use another Arte to interrupt the Fatal Strike. For example, with Raven, he uses Arrivederci before going for a Fatal Strike; the spell will cancel the Fatal Strike. What I want to know is how he can use the same Arte IN A ROW when not in Overlimit, since that is, to my knowledge, impossible (unless there's a glitch in the Japanese version...)
@Alphacme He's using manual cancel. It's where you use the free run button and move forward quickly to instantly get out of the recovery frame of the arte hence why he used Lone Wolf Storm twice in a row.
@isko1002 Hey, thanks a lot for that piece of information (I just got the Japanese PS3 version, so I'll try that soon). You wouldn't happen to know how he cancel the Fatal strikes, would you? I assumed that by hitting an enemy AFTER activating it, it canceled the killing propriety, but I tested on the 360 version and didn't seemed to work (maybe it only works on the PS3 version though)... know anything about that?
@Alphacme I think hitting the enemy straight after activating the fatal strike works in the PS3 version but I'm not sure because of the part at 1:19 when Yuri comes in for a 2nd time, he activates a fatal strike and there is no spell afterwards but the enemy still lives.
@isko1002 I'm thinking a failed fatal strike has something to do with it (notice the clink sound after the fatal strikes) I did the exact same thing as Muragiri did at 1:19 but I still failed, I'm guessing its all certain time frames between the artes and fatal strikes.
@isko1002 Yeah, that's why I'm so unsure about the whole process... anyone would guess about hitting after the Fatal Strike, but this one is a lot more problematic. All I can think of is that using another Arte in between (in this case it would be Pyre Havoc) would make the game forget the killing propriety. I think he does the same thing with Judith a little earlier, which would help confirm this. Of course, the well timed frame could be the real explanation as well. I'll have to test on PS3.
Good video, but this is the music from the Kara no Kyoukai movie,am I right?I think the video in itself is good, but the music belongs better in Kara No Kyoukai, dunno how to explain it.
@kratosaurion977 The first song is Ryougi's theme in Melty Blood: Actress Again (the one played in her stage) and the second come from the 6th movie of Kara no Kyoukai, the 12th track : M15+16+17 (it's the song played when Azaka fights)

Can't tell you how he does it, the only way i can think of would be a step guard canceler, but I don't see him using it.

How can Yuri use Lone Wolf Storm (in the beginning) in a row? If he was in Overlimit, it would be possible but he's not... how is that possible?
Alphacme 1 year ago
@Alphacme I'm wondering how he can fatal strike monsters more than once... Wenever I fatal strike they die after that.

I haven't watched the movies, so I'm assuming that they used the music from there, but this song is Ryougi's theme in Actress Again as well.

Yes,they used the music from the movies in MBAA,but I think they altered it a bit.
