  • I need u to check my heli. .it can't move forward, help pleze ??

  • But during flight the blades will have different pitch anyway won't they. It's the very basic principle of helicopter moving. Each blade increases pitch and decreases pitch during one single revolution (if the swash is not level).

  • gotta say man you totally have a way of explaining things so everyone understands it truly awesome just like your skills out in the field.... two thumbs way up...

  • Dude just a great teacher aren't you?

  • very helpful, thanks!

  • Why kind of heli is the one with the flybar below the blades?????

  • Good information and thanks

  • what

  • Thank you so much! As I was watching, I adjusted this and the blades are now almost perfectly in the same plane. I gotta do a little more fine tuning however. THANKS

  • Great video, the reason for the little bit of tape is to balance the blades,it also helps when tracking the blades.keep making great info movies:)

  • Great explanation and clearly spoken! 5/5

  • Excellent video & a big thank you.

  • Really clear and helpful video thanks for taking the time

  • Very good video, thank you

  • i have a honey bee king 3, and in the book it says to not adjust the the short link and toadjust the long one, does it matter which one you adjust?

  • @rwtfallenjf25132 forget the book, follow the pros

  • @rwtfallenjf25132 The long one is for fine adjustments and the short one is for bigger adjustments. When you've got about a centimeter of bad blade tracking, you'll usually need to turn one or two times on the short links only. You'll be turning lots more on the longer ones, which is quite unnecessary if you get the hang of it.

What's worse is it will ruin the fact that you'll only need to turn full or half turns with the small link. I'd say stick to the small links indeed! :-)

  • @rwtfallenjf25132 The short links have to be the same length & the correct length in order for each of the blades to have the same pitch when the flybar seesaw is level and for the mixing arms to have the correct geometry at zero pitch. So once they're set up right, they shouldn't be adjusted after that. If they are not the same length then the long rods will have to be different lengths to correct the mistracking that the short rods cause. It works, but the choice is up to you.

  • when im dle up, my blades go of track, why is this? when its not in idle up its in one line perfeclty tracked. how can i fix this or is this nomal?

  • @thefirstofmykind check the metal head assembly to make sure nothing is loose

  • Well explained, helpt me alot...thx

  • how do you know the "homebase" er whatever of where both pitches need to be? like you could get both the blades in the same exact position but both are generally pitched too much or too small how do you know what that pitch should be?

  • @GoEflight by checking the blades during flight we can find out if one is tracking high or low. But rest is all experiment and set thingy

  • well said...! u rockss..!

  • how to track blades for Blade MSR or fixed pitch?

  • another Great video

  • @nitrokyosho1 Thanks :D

  • Thanks for the very well explained technique Ali! Keep up the great work with all your video reviews!

    Jamie

  • @jamiehs Welcome mate :) I learned it from an Unknown RC heli pilot ;) who I met just once by chance on field.

  • tnx for these video tuts i am going to check them out when i will get my nitro heli

  • @artin13 Yup, Do post videos of your nitro heli

  • @alishanmao i will try :D

  • which one is better? the one that has the flibar at the top?

  • @heberorozco King 4 in this video is a good Heli for 6 Channel 3D Heli beginners. No need to spend much money yet it flies awesome. parts are cheap. the other one with metal parts (Drago450SE V2) is a pro heli, it comes as a kit only and you have to build it. So only experienced pilots can do it, and fly it. its not for beginners
