@redetrigan it's very typical for germans (the intelligent, educated ones) in foreign countries, they're maybe too much aware of the history of their country which is kind of an original sin to them. can be a disadvantage, but on the other hand it's sympathetic to me since i feel the same way.

it might sound far-fetched to you, but it actually plays a big part in the lifes of many germans.

it's not that he isn't confident: he's not cocky. and i agree, if he was a 'look at me' player, people wouldn't like him as much. they wouldn't respect him like they do now.
