Elmo is a 3 1/2 boy monster, with Kevin Clash--whose Elmo voice can be heard on Dinosaurs everytime Baby Sinclair speaks--as his performer, whilst Zoe is a female monster of similar age performed by Fran Brill.

That's why it must be hard for Kevin and Fran to fully concentrate on the performance when the two monsters are so lively as characters, due to their unlimited energy and love to have fun!

I grew up on a farm, and we had ducks. One day, when I was five or so, I saw a mother duck with a line of ducklings behind her. I liked pretending, so I got in line behind the ducklings and pretended I was one of them. The mother duck attacked me and almost ripped my ear off.
