@singyiulim It's pointless doing that since the tutorial already teaches users how to perform each move listed in the tutorial. Plus that would be too much work.

@zombiekid789 If the video clips you are referring to are my gameplay, I have gotten much better since then.

If you're talking about the other clips that have other players' gameplay: Those players know what they are doing more than you do. Plus Fullhouse has a weird hitbox that is picky about JCing. Shooting the enemy sorta stabilizes them.

I don't quite understand the reversed attacks. Is it sorta like jump cancelling, but used to turn yourself around?

@CravingForCoffey Reversing attacks requires no jump cancelling. In fact, it's harder to perform than jump cancelling due to the timing.

Essentially, you need to perform an attack while locking on to the enemy. After that, quickly perform another move (ex. Stinger, High Roller, Streak) and let go of the lock on button while pressing the direction you want to go with your attack.

@eightgateslee20 First tutorial was Beginner/Intermediate. This tutorial could be considered as Advanced/Expert.

However since both tutorials have gameplay that isn't really listed in the actual DMC4 game (and since it requires more skill to perform these moves), I just called these tutorials Advanced Combat Part1 and Part 2.

How do you get it so u can beat up enemies with out them dying because i want to practice all of this. Also, does hooking a ps3 controller require anything or can u just hook it up and play with it.

@tdvtdv3 Check the credits for how I got the enemies to have infinite life.

In order to get my PS3 controller to work I had to use a program called MotionJoy.

Just search a "PS3 controller on PC" tutorial on youtube.

How were you able to contact these guys to give you footage? Did they send you raw vids or did they compress their vids and send them to you for your compilation? It's freaking awesome you got some top players to join you and help you out.

@Keirnoth Well, I already knew a few players before I began making these tutorials. But after making the first part of my Dante tutorial series, I guess a few pro players gained interest in this project and decided to help me. Of course, I had to ask first since I was not capable to perform these advanced moves. They agreed to help and sent me individual clips of them performing some advanced techniques for the video. I even learned a few techniques myself by making this video as well.

Haha, I never knew I was performing an advanced technique whenever I start attacking thin air away from enemies =P I guess there's a difference between you doing it intentionally and me doing it because I have no clue what buttons I'm pressing. Great vids, great technique, and great editing!

I think you should have also mentioned how much time a Lucifer Blade has until it explodes WITHOUT using Ecstasy to trigger it after it is planted. This is seen on many combos Brea did to Alto Angelos on her DMC4 Combo Mad video.

@ThedetOx5000 Sorry. But I can not understand what you are trying to say. I think it's because you are using a translator. But the translator is not translating correctly.

I have a PS3 controller to play DMC4 on my PC. I do not use a keyboard to play.

When using a translator, ensure that you are speaking clearly in Spanish. Otherwise, the translator does not translate correctly.

@kobraxrdelta subscribed!! And to everyone that is interested in getting good at this wonderful game, a good way to train is to get the debug patch. After that you can use cheats like "No enemy death" and "Time limit OFF" in bloody palace mode. Also if getting the timing right is hard for you, there is a "slowmotion" kind of cheat (aka "Work Rate"), which lets you modify the games speed. The good way to learn these advanced techniques is to do them slowly.

amazing.. i improved so much lately but i still cant manage my thumbs to do siderave and the reverserave, but aside that this is the best tutorial for those techniques that pros like brea or h1s does but you cant understand how its done, in fact i never saw brea doing siderave, although she was the first who did starrave i think, in tst4

My clips do not have the PC Settings quality set to high, hence the bland, dark Bloody Palace ground in some of the clips.

But once you got it you don't have to think anymore and you can go faster and faster..

@vGbaraka You're exactly right on the muscle memory subject. My fingers are now completely used to doing StarRave (Still have to practice siderave and reverse rave).
