@patman173 I agree. The Taliban and Al Qaeda are NOT the same thing. It WAS the Al Qaeda that crashed into the twin towers on 9/11. The Taliban was causing problems in Afghanistan before 9/11 and were taking control over Afghani cities. They are both terrorist groups, but as I said before, they aren't the same thing. But we are encountering problems with both.

Mostly Team Leader and up in command billets get M4's while the rest get M16A4. But it's all preference, especially since we've fielded the M32 most team leaders won't carry a 203.

@gksk8monk well i do know that if it is it is a very recent change. the Marines mainly used M16A4s,while the Army mainly uses the M4. as of a year ago that was simply how it was, the only Marines with M4s were recon,marsoc,force recon,lar,corpsman, and some officers. which is not that much. but after seeing all this helmand footage it appears that all team leaders and squad leaders have one. weird because i havent seen anything about this change on the internet and the Marines are very pro-M16.
