  • Bugger has a couple of meanings. The chap in the film meant shit, damn, sod it or crikes. Bugger actually means one man having sex with another man. Sorry I cannot explain it to you in softer terms.

    The other replies you got are also correct, the term came from the word buggery, but that's not commonly used anymore. If at all I might add.
