No it's not, The Wedge is a crazy shorebreak...Ive surfed there before and even on a 5 foot day, some waves break on sand without water underneath it. If you look at videos, there are people who walk all the way past the break. this day where those waves broke it was about 2-6 feet deep. and 6 foot is MAX on an outside cleanup set.
