  • Okay, setting aside crazycandyful's mistake, this still means that two people must have been followers of Lord Blackwood.

  • one if them is crazycandyful ... He is the top commenter and he killed him self after that !

  • 3 people are....... like crazycandyful up there ^^

  • this is hardly OST

  • This, Discombobulate and Catatonic are the best tracks in the film.

  • @ejthedj97 : YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 8:32 is so perfect and dark, damn, i wished he had explored that part a little bit more, the dissonance feels so right and epic

  • At which part in the movie does this play?

  • @AgieSebie Where Sherlock is taken to Lord Coward, The climax scene (on the bridge), the part where Holmes is chasing Irene.

  • Does anyone else want this playing in a cinematic style when walking somewhere and feel epic?

  • Violin music piece from 5:13-6:04 gives me the chills

  • @aviator23x that's an awesome fealing, is'nt it? :P

  • Pwnage

  • Zimmer is a fucking genius!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Rampagelil dont tell fuck...u asshole

  • This irritates me.

    I don't know why.

  • *Volume up high* :D

    *BOOM*

    EARRRR RAPPEEEE

  • @Mpresley012 Commonly known amongst Sherlock Holmes-fans as the Discombobulate-syndrome.

  • @ejthedj97 same xD All I heard was static my volume was up so high xDDD;;;

  • 5:39 <3

  • i hope my neighbours like this

  • @themightymark123 They'll do. Eventually.

  • F. I CLICKED ACCIDENTALLY DISLIKE. NOW I'M GONNA KILL MY SELF.

  • @crazycandyful : YOU'RE A DISCOMBOBULATED EMO DUDE

  • @kampungflunk675 haha, no

  • @kampungflunk675 uh-huh...

  • @crazycandyful well just click like!

  • @kampungflunk675 You bet I did!

  • @crazycandyful Don't worry, I liked it to balance it out.

  • @WatermelonShow I see your logic. :D

  • @crazycandyful It's elementary, my dear crazycandyful!

  • Found it on grooveshark, free to listen crisp, clear and undistorted.

  • its good i like it, but the quality of the sound is terrible :/

  • @gabriel830074

Levels were captured too hot causing it to clip - quite a bummer...

  • @orkestrante really?

  • When was this during the movie?

  • @LUXAETERNA6603 The end, on the bridge.

  • my fav part starts at 5:13 and the best parts are at 5:54, 6:24, 6:48 and well, actually the whole song, just awsome

  • This song is epic

  • I kept hearing the Westminster Chime pattern over and over again throughout this whole thing. It sounds like an extreme version of my grandfather clock's chime. Love it. :D

  • Ooh this movie became one of mah favorites immediatly after watching.

  • ...felt like i got shot

  • 2:58 love that part!

  • This one track sums up the whole damn movie in my opinion: fast-paced (well, sometimes), intriguing, and just full of fun. :)

  • at 2.27 think i shat myself the first time I heard it! so scary

  • the music is fantastic :D... i just wish for a better quality

  • 2:27-2:30 sounds a lot like the Inception soundtrack.

  • @xtremespeed128 This was first so the Inception soundtrack sounds like that part, not the other way round.

  • @Allekto1323 And the dark knight came before that, and it sounds similar. While he is an amazing artist, he is not super human, he cannot recreate hundreds of tunes. Not saying you were implying that though, just stating it.

  • @PSNDonutDude Yeah, you're right.

  • Love 6:21- 6:39 :)

  • @runscapelover9 Me too.

  • @GlacHusky :) :) :) :)

  • 5:16 to 6:06 absolutely stunned me. And at about 5:57, when it gets even more intense...oh, man, I had to catch my breath. And the gentle quality of 7:28 or so and on was so great. That sound effect at 8:27 (which they play quite a few times throughout the movie) gets me EVERY time. I love this whole soundtrack!!

  • la qualité n'est pas très bonne, dommage =/

  • Can anyone tell me all or some of the movies Hans Zimmer did? Thank you sooo much

  • @WrittenLikeMusic

Have you never heard of IMDB?!

  • @WrittenLikeMusic Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator, The Last Samurai, Batman: The Dark Knight and recently Inception. Plus tons more like the Lion King and Black Hawk Down..

  • @WrittenLikeMusic he also did the MW2 music ^_^

  • Did anyone notice if the man who played (or rather voiced) Prof. Moriarity was listed in the credits? If he could keep the job in the sequel, that would be good; I thought he had an excellent voice with the right mixture of cunning and authority.

"...and you will leave my employment when I allow you to!" Evil...

  • @linkblade91 im sure they deliberately left him out of the credits. i looked for him too :D

  • @loki24100 You have a good point. If we knew who he was (even out-of-character), that would ruin a good deal of the mystery surrounding him.

  • @linkblade91 I think they're trying to get Daniel Day Lewis to play him in the sequel(s). Which would probably be amazing

  • @linkblade91

OK, dont read this if u absolutely dont want prof. moriarity's character to be spoiled! (if what i heard is right) However, if u really do want to know, the person who plays him is brad pitt. At least, once again, from what i've heard.

  • @DearCandyFloss He's God among us... XD

  • Bass solo ftw.

  • When I watched the trailer, I thought the movie was going to be supernatural, but when holmes explained it in the end, it became my new favorite movie

  • I also like 8:20 onwards... the image of Blackwood hanging against the stormy clouds and the ominous music...

  • @Scruffy193 i too love that scene...speciall that bass who goes up....epic.

  • my new fave movio too!! is great I hope a sequel, it's great really. It's sound just like sherlock holmes

  • This is really great music !

  • LOVE this music... sherlocks holmes is now one of my favorite movies ever !!!

  • My ear just exploded.

  • loved the movie...sort off a more modern version, if like conan-doyle lived in our era thats how he probaly wouldve done it...granted bit away from the original but its modern cinema...i ust hope when the sequel comes they dont use pitt for moriarty...cos that would just be lame

  • When has Hans Zimmer ever let music lovers like us down? X)

  • My psychological recovery may take a bit longer than 6 months after having my mind blown away by this amazing song.

  • I absolutely love this soundtrack. I can't find anything wrong with it and love how one song can relate to another, yet at the same time sound so different. Hans Zimmer is the pinnacle of modern day composers.

  • 1:18 - brilliance.

I can't stop listening to it. One of the best pieces Zimmer has ever composed.

  • great movie !!! :P:P XDXD

  • Woah! This score is TOTALLY amazing! Especially this song...it's SO INTENSE! Oh man, I've found myself completely obssessed with this music! It's SO GOOD! (And the movie was great too!!)

  • My fave part is 5:12

  • All the music from this movie is great. Can't stop listening to it all. xd

  • me neither!!

  • thx for uploading this awsome masterpeice from Hans Zimmer

  • my new fav movie! I was really scared after i watched Eragon the movie 'cause Eragon and Sherlock Holmes are some of the only books i've actually read 25 times and more lol! And when i saw the Eragon movie i was SERIOUSLY crying :P it was awfull! I was feeling terrible......Then i went to watch this! Scared.....in the beggining! When i got out of the cinema.....i had a huge grin on my face! XD

  • u've learnt a valuable lesson NOT all films r crap but ur right eragon was crap and this is awesome

  • @Moviesoundtrackguy haha yeah ;)

  • @flitzthesoulreaper : I know, I read Eragon too, but the book was sooo much better than the movie DX

I thought Sherlock Holmes would be the same, you know good in the book, bad in the movie, but it wasn't!!

I was so happy, I saw 6 times XD

  • @flitzthesoulreaper all book based films are rubbish or at least incorrect. The Golden Compass was a good film except for the part that everything major that happened in the book came out in the wrong order in the film! While Percy Jackson was absolutely atrocious!

  • @fireilluminator except of course... Sherlock Holmes!

  • @flitzthesoulreaper I was also very sceptical about Robert Downey Jr. Playing Holmes. I knew he's a good actor but wasn't sure if he really fits the role. My expectations were fulfilled, he was amazing! I loved the movie because it had that old time adventure -spirit.

  • @flitzthesoulreaper omg i so agree with u but I haven't watch eragon i have to finish brisngar first!

  • @flitzthesoulreaper eRAGON the series was and is the bomb! fourth book comin out soon! but the movie was almost as bad as the first twilight movie...and thats bad! But this sherrlock movie was the bomb! and the string orchestra music is epic!!!

  • @flitzthesoulreaper Did you read the Holmes character as very different than Downey presented it? How that lcm several adventures into Watson's casebook, l have to say if is one of the most accurate portrayals I've seen. Too bad it's not canon.

  • @flitzthesoulreaper the eragon movie was awful!!! By the way, the new book is out! :D Well, you can preorder it, which means its soon!!! Its called "Inheritance"

besides "Discombobulate" this is my favorite sherlock song.

  • @bookercreator I actually already know :3 I check the site quite often (greeny woot!) but I'm kind of waiting for the greek translation ^^'

  • @flitzthesoulreaper so true

  • gets hecka cool at 5:09

  • can someone tell me what is that song played with banjo when holmes and watson fight with dredger and the two other men at the ginger midgets place? thanks

  • for who was looking for the fight scene song

its call The Dubliners - The Rocky Road To Dublin

and this is the link for it

    multiupload. com/22V6YYDYKD

just remove the space i hate this ;(

There is another new version for the song for The High Kings but its not the 1 in the fight scene

    anyway good luck

  • great soundtrack

  • If you listen carefully, you'll hear a modified version of the Big Ben chime that runs as a theme in the score. Sheer genius.

  • Haha! Didn't even notice that! I thought it was awesome, though, since Sherlock played the violin, that Zimmer incorporated so many strings into this, especially with the plucking and bowing of the violins. Total epicness in my book!

  • i so the movie today is AWESOM!!!!!!!!

  • where can i download this? plz tell! LOL, and yes, i am that desperate.

  • I saw it today. It was great

  • I love this soundtrack!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Sherlock Holmes movie!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks

  • I saw Sherlock Holmes yesterday.. I really love it and Robert Downey Jr!!!! ^ ^

  • @k4S5y Not in Blood but in Bond

  • What is the theme where he fights against the giant dood near of the boat ?

  • love this soundtrack! where do u download it?
