That must of been something to see, if i was sitting there in the chair i would have passed out cold on that floor... wow i hate snakes, call me names i don't care lol but i just squiver when i see them, even watching this Nancy makes me want to run away... regina.

@NancyToday I belive its called a Black Mus snake. You can offten tell by the chain mail body, and how it inerlocks with the pigmentaiton of the skin.

I know its a harmless snake, but I am so SO SO afraid of snakes.. It gave me chills watching this video.. If it was me sitting by that computer, that snake would have given me a heart attack!!!

Maybe the snake wanted to climb in the computer and study current events. Hopefully it won't take a byte out of the computer. If you use a pencil on the snake, you can get the point across. If the snake contacts the power supply, it will have a revolting experience. Then it would say, "AC come AC go!" I wonder if the snake has any memory of being in the computer. The snake had a chip on its shoulder when it was in the computer.

omg! I would have had a heart attack! I am not scared of mice, bugs, spiders or much anything else but snakes scare me to death!!! I have never run upon one & if I did I would have a heart attack I am sure!!! I had one get in a mobile home I had one time & it shed it skin & slid out a hole. And then my husband seen one in the floor of our old house by the washer & dryer but never told me until we moved cuz he knew I would move out immediately!!! U r so brave!!! N ur computer??? OMG!

Hi Nancy! Beautiful (& harmless) snake you've got there! I whipped out my Peterson Reptiles & Amphibians, E/Cent. No. America Field Guide, & think it's an Eastern Garter Snake, Thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis, based on what I could see & where you live. However, I know W. species better than E ones & only have this guide book because I used to compete in wildlife ID/policy competitions. As for the mess it left, the white part is uric acid, since reptiles don't excrete urea. Snakes get unfair rap.

I would have had a heart attack. I'm not scared of snakes, but I'm in the UK, we only get grass snakes growing to about 8 inches. I wouldn't be scared for me, but the snake drying up and dying.

They love to climb up my windows and doors and sometimes find there way into the kitchen sink. :D Let me tell you thats fun too. I once had a possum under my bed, we stayed up all night getting him out .

It's a life lesson. Don't keep the electrical panel doors open. Keep the slots on the back of the computer closed and the side on.  LOL
