Tim Curry is so evil. I just LOVE him in movies. I cant even tell you how many of his movies I have seen. He is really really funny in his comedies like Clue and Oscar but when he does Fantasy like Legend or Horror like It, he really makes you believe his is the evil monster that you hope doesn't visit your bedroom late at night. If I made a list of my favorite actors, he would be really close to the top, along with Kathy Bates. She is a chameleon too.

Upcoming SFX wiz at the time,Miles teves,deserves a share of the credit for the final look of the LOD. Odd how Rob does'nt mention Miles name not once during this featurette. SHAME ON YOU ROB!!!!

This film had an huge influence on me as an artist. Ridley Scott, Rob Bottin and Asheton Gorton are gods.

I've also heard that Alan Lee was a concept artist on this movie.

Are you aware of sidewhow collectibles impending release of a massive 23 Inch High Lord of darkness statue Mr.Pudding? Mind blowing attention to facial,musculature detail and with 10 different types of fabric incorporated into the flowing cape.And as you would expect it won't come cheap. Worth every dollar to the hardcore fan naturally though.

A colleague of mine had it on his desk for ages. It doesn't quite capture the menace, or sensuality of the original. Its still impressive up close though, yeah!
