@ThePwnburger It's been 3 years since Nocturnal Rites released The 8th Sin and almost 2 since the release of Guillotine's Blood Money. I'm ready for a new NR release and I wish some magazine, like Terrorizer, would do a big article on Nocturnal Rites because they are big fans of the band and NR deserves the recognition for making kick ass album after kick ass album. And I will admit, Iced Earth hasn't had a great album since 1996's The Dark Saga.

@lacoid My favorites from The 8th Sin are Not the Only and Leave Me Alone, but I liked Grand Illusion more than The 8th Sin. In all honesty though, I would have to say Afterlife is my favorite NR album and I would rank it as their greatest album. The only Nocturnal Rites album that I felt could have been better was Shadowland.

This is one of the most powerful ballads I've ever heard.

The lyrics in this song most of us all recognizes it from our own lives and the song is delivered with such power in the chorus that i blows your mind away.

Definitely in the top 5, but in my opinion Khan from Kamelot is a little better. The best Kamelot ballads are Don't You Cry, Anthem, and especially Epilogue. Check em out if you haven't heard of em. You won't be disappointing if you like Nocturnal Rites (the heavy and the soft songs)
