Good blog again steve. Do you ever try just fishing with one rod on a day session, just to keep the mobility ?

To be honest no, although most of the carp I caught this season in my 'Cambs Carp' album on my site came to one rod only method.

And it worked well as i had 13 fish, 10 of em 20ts:)

great blog again steve that reed warbler was always a pain but then i just used to block all the sounds out whilst i was there good to see the site back up and running

I have beeen busy as hell latley trying to get it all sorted.

You can and do block the sounds, i am fishing the most noisey, busy (dog walkers) lakle i know at the moment.

...i manage to block most of it out most of the time.

Hi matey another nice blog and i normally find a brick into the reeds shuts the little blighters up.

Dont get me wrong i like all the dick dicks and animals that we are priveleged to see or hear but chuffin ell dont them warblers go on it does your ed in after a while.

I use a handful of sand somtimes, but the thing is once you start to get 'annoyed' with the wildlife it can ruin your fishing somewhat.

Its all mental attitude eh.
